Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Are you guys getting sick of the long lines at the park? I mean on a average summer day u have to wait about a hour for every coaster (not counting Iron Wolf). GET A FASTPASS LINE FOR VIPER.

I think that waiting in line for 1h is not killing. but the weather (hot) i skilling me. SF should make some light showers intha line. like above the quene line. And turn on tha spray every 5 minutes for 5 minutes! THX my DEAR!

Mod Note: Please use proper spelling and grammar and stop with the THX my DEAR stuff.

I really don't care about the lines, as long as people don't line jump. When
I'm in a long line and I see people line jump, that starts to get me mad and
I get very impatient.

Actually, you should be grateful lines are only an hour long. At many parks the top attractions have longer lines than that by far.

According to management they gave one million more rides last season than the previous year which means lines actually moved faster since attendance was about the same.

I'm guessing you may see a little shorter lines in 2005 because guests will be spilt between two parks (Hurricane Harbor).

I remember back in 2001 where you were wating a good hour for shockwave, or that 2 hour wait for the RB. The lines are getting shorter every year.

I don't know if 2001 was the last year for Shockwave, but the line for that ride in which was the last year was walk-on the times I went. Some days can be bad because every line is full. HH should help with some of that problem.

I just hope that there won't be many ride closures at the regular park because of HH (due to a lack of not hiring enough employees).

Well, sorry to say, but HH might not make the lines shorter. Lines might
actually get longer. With HH, more people may come to the park. I would
rather the lines be bigger this year.

Longer Lines + More Income for the park = MORE coasters in the future!

2002 was the last year, until August. Yeah, I definitely remember the line for that ride. The longest I waited for it was probably up to 30 minutes. All the other times were walk-ons, it was great. I miss that ride.

HH will possibly make lines longer, but I wouldn't mind too much. I go enough times to be able to ride every coaster more than 5 times each season. Plus, fastlane is my friend. :)

The worst was when I waited 1 hour for Shockwave, and then I wasn't tall enough.

I once waited in line for Deja Vu for 3 1/2 hours in 95 degree weather in July 2002 for row 1A.

they don't even have that many RC cars on site, do they? I agree that it should run more cars, don't they only have 5 cars? unless there are more laying around in the employee parking lot. and they don't run all the trains all the time because it wastes people and energy if the park isn't full.

^ They do have 9 cars. Toward the end of the season, they had a 6th car on the transfer track that never ran and it had #9 on the back.

And American Eagle does have three trains per side (though I haven't seen them run three at a time in quite a while).

Doesn't Superman The Ultimate Flight take Fast Lane? I know how much fastlane cost but is that for 4 tickets or individual?

I could be wrong, but I believe that one of the three trains (from each side) has been in rehab for each of the last 3 years, hence why you haven't seen the third one.

both AE and Demon have 3 trains, but only two are used at any one time. they swap out one of the trains each season. I seem to remember AE's third train being discussed at the beginning of this past season.

They use demon's third train on busy busy days, but that doesn't happen all that often.

I don't mind the lines. If i want to ride the rollercoaster, then i'll wait, if I only kind of wanna ride the coaster, then maybe i'll get out of line, but that's rare.

For the train deal.

American Eagle only runs 2 trains per side, but the 3rd trains for each side are either in rehab right now or are used for pieces. Blues 3rd train was on the transfer track at one point in the past(04 or 03, I don't remember.) They eventually added the 3rd train and put one of the others in storage.

Demon runs 2 usually, but the 3rd train is only used for very busy days or if one of the other trains needs to be transfered off.

Whizzer can run 3 trains. They usually run 2, but often run 3 on moderately busy days. It use to run 5 in the good ole' days. I'm not sure where the other two are.(Storage?)

Ragin' Cajun. Yes, this year, it has been seen running either 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 trains. The ride should be capable of running 9 trains, but I believe they would need to fix the blocking as 2 trains should be able to occupy the lift at a time.(ig Primevil Whirl at Animal Kingdom). I have heard though, that the park has 12 trains on site.(Though all 12 would never run at once, I could see the park switching sets of 6 each season. Who knows.)

Oh yeah. I don't mind long lines that much. I will never wait the full line of some of the coasters/Giant Drop though. The longest I have ever waited for a roller coaster is S: UF for an hour and five minutes. I know when to wait in a line and when not to wait in a line.(That's why I don't complain so much about waiting in hour long lines for all the coasters. )

They are in storage/rehab. Train 5 just came back this year, Train 1 should be back in '06 if the pattern of every 2 years continues. Train 4 was done in '02.
