Nothing. Right now it's closed for the same reason one side of American Eagle is closed...staffing.

The green lawn orament has been closed the last two fridays,on 10/22 with A BS sign claiming weather conditions. This is suppossed to be a "marque" coasters so the staffing excuise doesnt cut is as something else could be closed to provide staffing for this ride.

I know that it probably is a staffing issue, but honestly Six Flags, why close one of your most popular (if not the most popular) ride instead of closing something else? I guess the only reason I could see for that is that Deja Vu needs like a 5 person crew while other coasters can survive on 3 (or even 2) people.

I think its because Deja needs to have specific ride ops to handle this ride, im not sure of this but i would wager to guess that this is reason its closed down now.

^I can see that being a problem too. The more I think about it it's true that it's usually the same people on the crew.

Bob, you wouldn't give this park any slack no matter what they do. I have seen you post on here and CB and 90% of your posts are negative SF responses.

Do you go through life in this state of mind?

It opened up around 1 on Saturday. It rained all morning, but they had the staff to run it in the morning.(I heard that it tested a little in the morning before the rain.)

I didn't know SFGA had a "lawn ornament." If you have a problem with Deja Vu's staffing then go become a ride op for it! And that sign is not BS! How would you like it if you got stuck on Deja Vu? Huh? Then that sign wouldn't be so BS........

^It claimed that it was down due to weather conditions last Sunday when it was 60 degress and sunny.

Thats definatly a BS sign.

Exactly.

They aren't going to have a sign that says "Closed due to staffing".

Even if the sign was BS, I don't take it nicely when people insult Deja Vu.

O.K.

Deja-Vu sucks.
Yeah, I said it. :)

Just messing. I like the ride but the waits and breakdowns and now staffing of the ride grows tiring.

By the mr. dejavu: You claim to live in Lake Zurich and it takes you 40 mins to get to the park? Are you traveling 30mph?

The correct spelling would be "MARQUEE"

The spelling you use would be a French Term for "brand" Hmmmm.

I just jumped on the bandwagon because everyone else was.

I don't know how long it takes to get there from my house; I usually go with my friend and her mom, and they don't take the expressway so it's about 30- 35 minutes with them. When I go with my Dad it's around 20.

dejavu cant run in the rain because the gears become sliperly and the train can't latch on to the lift cables properly. I have seen it happen at least 5 times during the season. they arn't taking any chances now.

Deja Vu was open most of saturday and all day sunday. I would say that last weekend the weather(rain, wind, cold) had something to do with it.

I love how people who dont work for the park knows what is wrong with rides that doesnt operate. Since I dont work at the park anymore let me make my blind assumption of why Deja Vu has tons of problems: Their are numerous design flaws with the ride that make it a problem to maintain. But I wouldn't know because i don't work there anymore. Until there is a press release of why the ride breaks alot or a park official has told you what is wrong with the ride, dont assume. We all know what happens when we assume.

No, it wasn't. Weather was just a coincidence. Staffing is the issue.

I sure do. They wouldnt have the weather sign up if it wasnt for weather. They have the other signs.

Oh, so they have a sign ready and available to put out there saying "Closed due to staffing"?

Think before you post.

"This ride will not open today" That sign has been up lots of times during the season. The weather sign only goes up for weather.

Weather was not the issue, I have seen and rode Deja Vu in far cooler weather, and on windy days.

It was nice out all but the last hour on Friday night and Vu had the weather sign out, the whole night.
