Disney, Hands down. The imagineers just do such an awesome job getting you into the ride. Not the most intense rides, but its still by far one of my favorite experiences.

i agree for family rides hands down it has to be disney but for thrills it has to be cedar fair or six flags and for movie rides it has to be paramounts or Universal

Six Flags hands down. Six Flags is the largest and by far the best there is. Plus they love Bolliger And Mabillard so I love them.
I want the sfgam survivor to be held every July and August.
You should add Busch to the list.
My favorite would be Cedar Fair, due to the overall original park experience of all the parks that I visited from the chain. I love Six Flags Great America, but the other Six Flags parks don't do justice for the whole company.
Ever since Premier baught SF that companys gone down the crapper, although GAm doesn't seem to have a problem, SF's maintenence budgeting is REALLY screwed up (anyone else think it's acceptable for RIDDLERS REVENGE to be running 1 train all summer!?!?, they need to get those trains up to standards so they can get them certified and get them on, pronto....MM not being the only park that doesn't get close to what they need)....also with Cedar Fair it's got the same new ride policy, you bring in the money, congradulations heres a new ride! Your attendance is down because people don't want to go there because you don't have anything (Michigans Adventure), keep it that way then and you'll just stay crappy forever, bleh..
If CF higher ups had half a brain they'd realize that buying SFWoA and then dumping the only assets they had over CP was perhaps the stupidest thing they have ever done....send the rides to different CF parks (WoF, MicAdv, VF) and sell that land. "Well were trying to make it so tha people go to both parks, kind of like a package thing." Gah, shutup. NOBODY besides coaster enthusiasts trying to jack up their coaster count is going there when CP is an hour away, the only reason they still get a few people a day is because they're going there because it's cheaper than CP, even then your losing customers for your flagship park, and CF's still losing.. Operating a park an hour away from your flagship park that has no assets whatsoever in any market when CP is an hour away is just, stupid... My vote goes to Disney. I have only been to 3 out of the 6, and SF is where it's at.
Disney easily wins this one for me for the day experince.

Cedar Fair, although Six Flags comes close.
Obviously none of you have been to a Busch park. I have been to BGW and BGT, and they are like disney land with intense rides. The shows they have are awesome, plus the theming beats anything SF has. Busch may not have 10 coasters in a park, but they make what they have count. My vote goes to Busch of course.

I've been to both, Space Mountain's more intense than Montu. My favorite coaster at Tampa being Scorpion, favorite at Williamsburg being Apollo, Williamsburg has very some nice theming (including the rides, I LOVE the BBw area) while Tampa's is just a lame desert and cheapo africa huts and a few heiroglyphic walls. Alpie don't do much for me....overall neither of them Disney calibur. Splash Mountain and Test Track are FAR superior than anything at either parks..

You were the only one I knew on this fourm that went there (because of your comments on Montu in the bad coaster topics). Anyway I disagree with you. Apollo's Charriot is arguably better than RB, if you really love airtime. Alpengeist, I agree with you on that. When I rode it I think I had unrealistic expectations for it and it just seemed medicore. I dont really think that Tampa's theming is that lame. There were some really cool tall monument like, dessert sand building things. Like the one arch in front of Montu's immellen (sp?).

Now as for parks, Six Flags over all has the best ride selection in my opinion. Perhaps this changes when i go to CP this September, but when i plan a trip one of the things i consider is the rides at the park, which im sure some of your people do also. Secondly, Brad do you honestly seriously think SFMM wants to have these rides running one train? perhaps maybe its not as clear as you may want to think. Third, Disney parks have nationwide/worldwide attendance, unlike SF which has regional and some although not as much nationwide attendance, which means that more people are going to travel 2,000 miles to see Mickey Mouse then Bugs Bunny, and they are going to spend a helluva lot more money to see MM then Bugs, thats a fact and its been that way for years. Finally, folks remember that the economy is still down, these things happen, 2000 and the first 8 months of 2001 was the turning point for America's economy, 9/11 only intesified that downturn. So maybe there are other factors involved besides rides only running one train.. Six Flags has my vote. 
About the One train thing. Dosent the State have a law saying they cant operate more than 1 train or something like that?
Im not an expert on that, but im willing to bet a paycheck that says thats not true at all.
No, it's not MM's fault they only HAVE 1 train on RRv now, they don't get the proper funds to get their stuff up to standards, so they get shut down by OSHA inspectors (happenned with 2 trains on RRv).
Uhm, CP's attendance has, and always will burn Geaga's and piss on the ashes. IF you don't want to believe what's the truth just because I said it, that's not my problem... The reason SF sucks and has sucked for the past 5 years is not because the economy, it's because of poor planning, poor execution, and guest disasisfaction....within the next few years i'm confident they will get much better, SFWoA was a major dud for them after 3 coasters, the whole Sea World, and a waterpark people still refused to go there over or even along with CP, they finally realized it had to go and they sold it, step one. Sell a couple other similar duds, Mr. Six is in full form, parks are getting better, SF WILL improve, but the past 5 years really have, sucked. You can't blame the whole SF chain for one park that of which being SFMM. Maybe, it is bad, but not every SF park is like that. Management can have a lot to do with it and the state of California of course.
Universal would get my vote in a second. IOA is the best THEME Park I have ever been to. The only knock on IOA is that thye haven't added anything in a couple of years, but you can still spend a day their and have fun. Hulk, Spider-man, and DD are rides that you can do over and over agian and not get sick of.
The Studios has classic rides like Earthquake, Jaws, and E.T. MIB blows Buzz out of the water and is another ride I can spend all day on. They have added great rides like Shrek 4D, Twister, and Mummy (It was sad to see Kong go). Their hotels and service is excellent and you never hear of that many ride safety issues (Cough - Disney). I consider myself a Disney buff and at one point I would have said that Disney is the best, but with the state of Disneyland and their safety record I have to give the edge to Universal. Mission:Space was a bust and if I want to do 75 in a car I will drive on the expressway. TOT at Disneyland along with Pooh are considered busts and the general public hates DCA. Both Six Flags and Cedar Fair are also having ride safety issues. Universal is doing a better job with their parks at this moment
You don't blame MM, it's SF corporates great idea the past 5 years to increase attendance by adding coasters that don't work, adding more coasters, reducing maintenence funds, adding more coasters, and thinking it would all turn out dandy. While the "lets add 3 coasters, 2 of which have never been done before to our biggest park in one year" may have kept the turnstyles turning for them, it really screwed up their maintence funds. Imagine having X, Vu, S:TE, Sky Tower and Metro (which had recently had problems) all in the same park. X and Vu being bran spankin new of course, market it like crazy! Wait, they doesn't work, uh oh, we're getting sued! Not only that, remember SFWoA? Well good attempt there. Lets see what they did to steal people from CP, or as I refer to it, the "Ohio Bull" -S:UE, Villian, B:KF, X-Flight. -Purchasing Sea World, Animals. -New waterpark. NONE of which made SFWoA a contender against "the Ohio Bull" so it's about damn time they sell it. I'm not gonna go into the whole thing about how stupid CF handled it, read a few posts up. My vote goes for SF because we are the ones that start it all and have "Americas Greatest Thrills." The only good park in the Cedar Point chain thingi ( I dont know the name of the chain ) Is Cedar Point.
