It wasn't RIGHT after the home run. Gload had already flown out after one called strike. They should have issued a warning first. Even the CWS commentators were saying that it was uncalled for on the radio. They also said that the hit by pitch was unintentional.

My two favorite lines from cartoons -

"Damn you, damn your broccilli, and damn the Wright Brothers"- Family Guy

"Oh my god the dead have risen, and their voting Republican" - Simpsons

^ Quite possibly. The way our bullpen normally is I thought it would have been the other way. Thank goodness Franklin German was sent to AAA. :D

Tigers defeted Cleveland 13-4. CLE took out their starting pitcher in the 1st!

I got a SOLTEK K8T800 chipset mobo with an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ CPU. I forgot to add the processor to my cart, so I just ordered it a few days ago  My graphics card is a GeForce FX 5500 256MB 128-bit.

Ok so today, in Lexington, Illinois, two prisoners escaped and stole a car. Earlier today, the car and one prisoner was found, but as of 11:15, the other one is still on the loose. I live about 20 minutes away from Lexington, so my whole area is on alert right now. Kind of crazy if you've never experienced a prison break before.

The other prisoner was caught in Ohio this morning. He was dumb enough to tell the one that got caught where he was going.

Does anyone notice that all the democrats are talking about is hope and Kerry being in Nam even though they rarely ever say anything about his carreer in the senate? They also forget to menchin about how he speaks out against the patriot act, even though he voted to pass it.

And i'm so surprised that Kerry got nominated last night .

^ Okay, so lets see what hope Bush offers, or him as a war hero, or how he did well as a President. Can't get much out of there can you?

What about Kerry and Vietnam?

While in command of Swift Boat 44, Kerry and crew operated without prudence in a Free Fire Zone, carelessly firing at targets of opportunity racking up a number of enemy kills and some civilians. His body count included-- a woman, her baby, a 12 year-old boy, an elderly man and several South Vietnamese soldiers.

"It is one of those terrible things, and I'll never forget, ever, the sight of that child," Kerry later said about the dead baby. "But there was nothing that anybody could have done about it. It was the only instance of that happening."

Kerry said he was appalled that the Navy's ''free fire zone'' policy in Vietnam put civilians at such high risk.

That's only a little snipit of what he did in Vietnam and what he did with his medals that he "earned" later.

I suggest you read up on this site a little before you praise Kerry's efforts in Vietnam.

I loved how all the Democrats were putting Republicans down for not being united and for keeping the country apart.

Well excuse me, but aren't the Democrats part of the problem for not uniting? If our country is to unite(Which is one the motto's for Kerry), then that means there would be one party with the Republicans and Democrats combined. That will never happen. Some of his promises(like Bush's) are out of line.

Put it this way, this kid at my school promised a 'fun fair' if he becomes vice-pres. next year for student council. Everyone voted for him because they thought he was funny and that maybe we could just get a 'fun fair'(which will never happen at our school-Boylan). We're not going to get everything they promise.

I live 1 block from the Kane County Correctional Facility and once a prisoner broke out and kicked down a few fences and ran into our neighboorhood. We woke up to 3 police cars in our back yard (it's easy to drive into from the front) and a prisoner on the ground with about 10 cops on top of him handcuffing him. This was many years ago but we still think about it. The police never even told us what was going on (even after) despite the fact that we were all looking out our windows frightened.

Anyone else see the Village? I liked it, but a lot of people didn't. It is very shocking and very surprising.

Cubs picked up Nomar the day of the trade deadline.
They continue to shell out the $ to make the team better (wish I could say that somewhat about the White Sox, but no, Reinsdorf, or however you spell it).
White Sox traded Loiza for Jose Contreras of the Yankees .
Why trade a somewhat consistent pitcher for a inconsistant one?

Papas. I thought you of all people would see the upside of this trade. Loaiza's ERA over his last 6 starts has been over 10, And his contract is up this year.
Contreras has had moments of brilliance this year, along with moments of non brilliance, the thought process is that a change of scenery will help this guy out (hes had alot going on with his family and all), and hes signed for two more years, and the yankees have agreed to pay off his contract.

Im glad to see Nomar in Chicago despite my dislike for the Cubs
