I went with my 2 cousins (as usual)who are 11 (hates coasters) and 14 (loves all rides, the scarier the better), and my mom.
We got there around 2pm or so.
And we left around 7:30.
The whole point of the trip was to get my mom's pass processed, and to FINALLY ride Ragin Cajun.
Execpt Rajin Cajun turned out to be closed.

So, instead, we went on the Big Easy Balloons, which is still a nice little calm ride, and Jester's Wild Ride, which really isn't that wild..lol. But it was still kinda fun. I figured out that if I look down while the thing is turning, it makes things a little more interesting...lol.
Then we went to see "We Got the Beat". (for the second freakin time this year, since my mom really wanted to see it, and my 11yo cousin loves it

Next came my mom's first time on S:UF.
(note - I didn't go on it because I cannot stand that ride, and the 11yo, didn't want to wait by herself).
Turns out my mom hates that thing more than I do. I can now laugh at her, and say "I told you so" since she told me, before, that she thinks I was being over dramatic in stating my dislike for that ride. HA! She said to me, after riding it, "I was on it and I thought, so, this is what someone feels like when they think they are going to die..I now know what it feels like to attempt suicide". (But I am the dramatic one??)
After that we went for a ride on the train (I am a loser - I love the train. Especially if I am tired. It's a great for relaxing).
Then the 14yo and I decided to get off and ride Iron Wolf.
There was NO LINE. We seriously walked right up to the station.
It was my first time on it this season. I forgot how much I LOVE that ride.
I kinda surprised myself by saying to my cousin, as we were getting back into the station, "I think I may actually like this ride more than I liked Shockwave". She looked at me like I was insane..heh.
Next we went over to Raging Bull, to close out the night, since we were all kinda tired.
*sigh* I simply adore that ride. It's just too damned much fun.
But surprisingly, I do believe that was the first time I rode it during daylight.
It's better at night.
And after a brief (but costly) stop to the candy shop, we left.
All and all it was a fun afternoon. I didn't get on nearly as many rides as I would have liked, and we left a lot earlier then I really wanted. But it's only June. I still have 4 more months left in the season. I am sure I'll be back there several more time.
