I hope it runs much faster once it gets warmer. The video Rob shared from Sunday showed the train barely making it everytime. I'm assuming it's a weather thing?

It's all a matter of opinion. On most launch coasters, the anticipation of the launch is often the most thrilling part. On many of the launch coasters I've been on that had a tophat or other tall element, it generally doesn't go through or over especially fast. Top Thrill Dragster, Mr. Freeze both have one version of a tophat that didn't seem very fast to me. The top of Storm Runner didn't seem really fast either.
Speaking of Storm Runner, it launches at 75mph and only goes up to 150 feet or so. Even Xcelerator gets up to 82mph and has a tophat of 205 feet. Even a more similar coaster hits 83mph but only goes up to 171 feet. Maxx Force launches 78mph and basically from ground level and goes up to 175 feet tall. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't designed to go very fast over the dog tongue and a good reason they have those wheels up there.
I took video of the last car being lifted up and put into the storage shed. I'll post it when I'm around wifi. I also filmed Maxx Force testing today. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
^ Can't wait to see it! Also, has anyone else noticed that the concrete hasn't been completed for the exit walkway? The ramp is complete, so is the walkway under the final inversion heading towards the gift shop, but there's no concrete poured between the station's ramp and the rest of the walkway. I thought they would have this done by now.

They’re still using big equipment on the site and this is the only path they can take with it. I’m assuming once they don’t need the equipment anymore it will be laid down and
UPDATE: They have poured more concrete for the exit as you can see in this pic.

Just spoke with Hank as he was coming out of Hurricane Harbor....and no I didn’t ask when it’s opening. He said things were coming along great and said to stick around cause they weren’t testing for the day. He’s always been so extremely nice when I’ve spoken to him as well as Jim Reid Anderson, but then again I guess they have to be nice to the customers.
I'm trying to post the video of the last car of Maxx Force being put in the storage shed. It either won't fit or it's sent to the wrong place. Ugh... Anyhoo, I met a guy named Hugo. He told me that he will be the new supervisor for Maxx Force. He is just as excited to run the ride as we are to ride it! He was a very nice person. It was a pleasure to talk to him.

Maxx Force was still sluggish at the top of the dog tongue. I apologise for having a phone with limited capability. I'd be happy to send you or anyone else who would like the video as a PM since I have no idea how to post the videos here.
