This is very sad. I don't understand why the worker was walking in that area while Scream was testing, and I don't get how he or she could not have known that the train was comming. I mean it had to have made noise going up the lift and then going around the track. This whole thing seems very wierd, I guess we'll have to wait for more details. I hope he or shes family can get through these tough times.

It suprises me how the employees/parks don't have lockouts. (A lockout is where the main shutoff switch can hold up to six padlocks in the off position. When someone goes out to work on the coaster, they put in a lock. You can't start until all the locks are out; thus all workers are off the track.) It would really prevent a lot of these types of accidents.

About the employee hearing the noise, If you worked on a coaster all day in a theme park, then you might learn to ignore the noise. I work in a restraunt and I used to hate the loud talking, now I'm used to it. This still is a very sad story, you never want to see people getting hurt on machines of fun.

Yeah, I have planes flying over every minute, not just small planes; I get thooses 747,777,A340's etc.. and they make a ton of noise. Now I donnot notice them, the people that are afraid of the expansion should come to my house and live here for a week.
