In the chat tonight, RollingCoasting and I decided it was time to make a thread dedicated to the one, the only Robb Alvey! Post anything regarding this man or his website here. Any posted about is family will not be tolerated.

Here's one thing that bugs me apart TPR overall: CP/Cedar Fair Fanboys
They get so offended so easily
For example, last year some people were suggesting a bunk of Hawk names for Valravn and they were throwing fits over it.
And yesterday when someone asked why they didn't have a more creative name for Patriot at CGA, someone else said "Six Flags all ready took Blue Hawk" (I was dying ) and then came the Cedar Fair fanboys who came at the guy insulting Six Flags for their names. (I think the guy might've had a Six Flags homepark) I like how we don't even care. ----------------------------------------------------- Also in the CGA thread, someone was saying how Rougarou is still rough in a few spots, but Robb's goons attacked him with insults claiming that anyone who thinks B&M Floorlesses are rough should stay home.
^ That's because TPR is unprofessional and unorganized. Compare it to ACE with say, their YouTube Channels. TPR has Robb singing (can we call it that) "we're on a log flume" while Ace puts up documentaries on Arrow. You gotta realize what you're gonna get. Robb made TPR so he could have fun and didn't care if it looked unprofessional while ACE wants to hold up their professional look.
Funny, considering that RaceBoarder is a member on SFGAmWorld...
But I do agree with him to some extent. In terms of active members, I do believe that 60-70% of them are indeed in High School. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, some very good posts on here were made by mature High Schoolers.
And I also agree with the TPR being comprised of 5th Graders thing.
I didn't Say it wasn't, but I found it weird that he only called Out SFGAm fans and told us to deal with it when most of us would be excited to get a Superloop anyway
Kind of coincidental that Robb posted this 10 years ago: (Found it whilst reading an old thread)
Like Erik said, it's because people have opinions, and that's a good thing! No one's opinion is "wrong", although you might agree with someone, you at least should try to understand and respect their opinion.
For example, I could not imagine how someone could walk away from Balder and not call it their #1 overall coaster. For me it exceeds everything I look for in a ride. But others were just like "meh...whatever." And that's hard for me to understand, but I have to respect it.
Now keep in mind, this thread isn't about stating opinions on rides, it's about wondering why people have opinions. So please try to keep it on topic!
