Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

1. Why is the park so crowded already this year? Both Tuesday and today have been rather packed for a weekday in May? What gives? The parking lot, even with the buses doesn't look too bad and ride operations haven't been any worse than last year?

2. What happened to X Flight and Batman's unique safety spiels?

^ I don't know about the crowds. Good weather I guess?

As for the safety spiels, I didn't notice one on Batman ever. X-Flight's I've heard a few times this season. I do know all other coasters had their spiels replaced which includes a guy speaking, the height, and usually ends with "Get ready to battle/ride/take on <ride name>!"

I asked an employee and he said all spiels are required to now have the height requirement in them. Every ride got/is getting new spiels.

As of the 6th, noticed that Goliath and X-Flight are the only unique ones. If it has to include the height requirement, Goliath's will stay but X-Flight would get a new one.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P
