After some discussion in another thread, I wanted to know what the roughest coaster is to everyone else. I searched, but didn't find a topic on the roughest ride, so I started this one.
For me, it's Demon. (I know this is going to start arguments, but still.)
If you would like, you can say why you think the ride you chose is rough.
American Eagle and Demon are rough for our park's standards, but they're fine compared to some of the real crap out there (Colossux Backwards, T2, Gemini, Kings Dominion Shockwave, etc.) - where pain is unavoidable no matter how you brace for it. Hell, you could even get a smooth ride on Iron Wolf once you knew how to ride it.
Roughest (1) to smoothest (11) in my opinion: 1. Demon (Better than i remember, but any ride that slams my head into a restraint multiple times is too rough in my opinion) 2. B:TR (See above) 3. Eagle Blue 4. Eagle Red 5. Viper (really seems as though it has gotten a lot more rough lately, last time I rode people were literally "ow-ing" during the ride) 6. Whizzer (Sure its old and a little rough in spots but its almost 40 so I give it a ton of credit) 7. S:UF (The bottom of the pretzel loop is starting to get shakey, not terrible, but noticeable) 8. V2 (V2 goes up and down, not much to be rough on) 9. X Flight (It definitely has the shakes at times) 10. Raging Bull (It is showing some age on the last hill/valley before the midcourse brake run) 11. Goliath
Not rated: SSR, Little Dipper, TDK as I haven't been on this season.
1. Demon (the ride is pretty smooth to me until it hits the rough transition to the corkscrews. The rest of the ride is rough and gives a lot of headbanging there) 2. American Eagle Blue 3, American Eagle Red 4. Viper (there is just a bit of rattle for me) 5. B:TR (the ride can shake around sometimes)
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)

That's sad to hear. I haven't been on Viper in 5 years or so. Viper is shorter than Eagle in both height and length, but it packs more punch in my opinion. The 540 turn around on Eagle is iconic visually, but that part of the ride is straight up boring.
I know I've said before that an RMC transformation of Eagle would be cool, but now that I think about it, Viper could be a better option. Eagle has a standard out and back layout that doesn't lend itself well to the overbanked turns that RMC is known for. Viper's twisting, turning layout is just the kind of thing that could benefit from a smoother, more intense ride.
With Goliath I doubt an RMC transformation is actually on the horizon for SFGAm, but SFGAm now has more wooden coaster track than any other park. Personally, I'd love to see SFGAm double down on wooden/hybrid coasters and become the wooden coaster capitol of the world. Improving Viper or Eagle could do just that.
There was no wait and me and my friends went on it to relive old memories. We had the train to ourselves. But I'm 6 feet to 6 1. It hurt like crazy. The small cars compared with the roughness of a woodie, it hurts
