Just as an FYI, I just stumbled upon the fact that over the next two years they're going to rebuild the ramps to and from the Tollway and Grand Avenue. They say they're working with the park on this, so hopefully they'll be able to plan it around the busiest times for the park, just thought I should mention it.
Good to know that there will once again be construction on the Grand Ave ramps this summer. Well, I don't plan on using I-294/ and the Grand Ave ramps this year.
I won't even bother with parking. I will be using Metra and Pace to get to SFGAm this year.
Looks like this year will only effect guests going home north of the park. In 2015, people from the south of the park will be effected coming and going.
Doesn't effect me at all though, I take 41. If anything, I'll probably benefit from tollway users getting stuck in traffic

All the better for me. There are bound to be many people leaving at like 11am or 12pm to go the park, they'll just end up stuck in traffic, while I am in the park enjoying a roller coaster. Always a good idea to get a EARLY start to the day. Beat the traffic and crowds.
It's pretty easy to avoid these ramps anyways. When I go we always exit before the tolls and go through Wadsworth. Don't have to pay and it doesn't really take much longer, please you don't have to worry about being stuck in traffic.

yeah, I almost always go down to Belvedere anyways, and if that's bad can just follow the posted route which I think takes you down to Milwaukee or something like that to get on the tollway

Doesn't effect me at all since I'm coming from the west (Rockford area). I literally take 173 all the way until just before the highway, hop on Hunt Club, and take that south until I hit Grand Avenue.
