Tips for Adding stuff to your Season Pass & new Programs

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Went to the Park and figured I'd share the wealth.

Only took the 3 of us about 1 hour to get this all done, including waiting. Also, as an interesting aside, met Hank Salemi, and he gave me wrong information

Here some tips from today:

Already have a Season Pass and adding Meal Pass, Parking or Upgrade to Xtreme Pass?

Go to Customer Service inside the park. Be prepared to wait a bit, but you will get taken care of.

Where do I pick up my Meal Pass vouchers?

Go right next to Trolley Treats, and you will see a big sign with the Hamburger logo. Trolley Treats is in Hometown Square to the right when you enter it from the front of the park

Where do I get my Xtreme (Fill in the blank)?

OUTSIDE the Park, go to Window 6 in Customer Service and you will get what you need.

How does Meal Pass work? When can I use the vouchers

You have to be inside the park before 2 PM to get both the lunch and dinner voucher. If after 2, then you will just get the dinner voucher.

Lunch can be redeemed from 11:30 am - 3:30 (confirmed by park CSR), and Dinner can be redeemed between 4:30 - 7:30 (confirmed below).

Six Flags also added an unlimited Photo deal as well. For 29.99 for Season pass holders you get a black USB key with keychain, and that entitles you to all pictures from any place in the park EXCEPT the Antique Pictures.

The meal pass program was very well executed, and I didn't have any snafus. I know Coaster Demon had an issue, but I didn't have any issues.

Maw & Pa's food was good, and the Turkey Leg platter from JB's Bar-B-Que was super hot and tasty.

I didn't hear that about the photos. I would definitely do that since we all know only one or 2 purchases can put you over $30 for on ride photos. So is that also at Window 6, or just ask at the photo booths?

My cousin came with me on one visit last year and he spent $70 on ride photos. This would have helped him a lot. Though one was the antique picture, so he'd still be out for that :P

I got the $29 USB photo deal. It will be fun having all my photos (even the bad ones) throughout the season without any more cost.

For the meal pass I at the county fair grill for lunch. Burger was OK, waffel fries where hot and tasty. Wife had chicken fingers and said they where just OK. We were sad however that none of the stalls had salt. For dinner we had Caesar wraps at the Cyber Cafe. They and the fruit was very good. Would definitely get that again.

EDIT: added meal pass menu.

It's at any of the photo booth areas, same for rides etc. It was more a fluke that we heard about it, really. We get 1 a year, usually during fright fest, but I have thought about it for ride photos a couple times. It's a good deal. Just have to toss them the usb drive and that's it.

About the food pass, I thought I saw somewhere that you can use it for selected treats too?
Candy: What you lookin' at?
Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama.
Candy: Yeah, you see something you like?
Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.

I didn't read that, and the sheet they gave us didn't indicate that. I'd be interested in seeing if it did, but honestly, 2 full meals is enough food. I was full without being gorged. Although walking 12 miles in 10 hours will also do that for you ;)

Are the food vouchers good all day, or are there different times for the lunch/dinner voucher as part of the program??

Different times. If I remember correctly, lunch is good from 11 - 3:30, and Dinner from 4:30 - 7:30.

I'll try to remember to take a picture of each when at the park Saturday.

Image This is the dinner one. I didn't get the lunch because I didn't want to wait in line forever.

The girl at the 'dining pass voucher' booth told me I could get the lunch and dinner passes at the same time, if I am there before 3:30. Face turns red if that's not the case

^ You get both vouchers at the same time. If you go to pick them up after 3:30, obviously you do not get a Lunch voucher.

yes, we picked up all our vouchers at the same time Saturday morning. I hope this Saturday morning they allow us to pick them up before 9 am, because I really don't feel like missing some X Flight time to pick those up before Noon - 1:00 PM :)

So if I *get in line* at 3:29 do I still get lunch? I hope yes... similar to getting in lines for rides at 9:59, etc. :D

(Not that I'm going to go around trying to get in line for food at the last minute, just would be nice to be clear on the rule.)

^ I would guess that you have to actually receive your food by 3:30 (or 7:30 for dinner). It would be too hard to keep track of what time you got in line.

Get it at the ticket booths before you go in the park we got fet up of waiting so got our handstamp and ask the ticket guy if we can buy it there he said YES. They also sell parking and you can upgrade youre ticket to a season pass up there too. You cant get the dining vouchers unless you process youre season pass so process it firsts before heading to the voucher booth at hometown square next to Trudys. You get two one lunch one dinner if you get it after 3:30 PM you only get the dinner voucher you can also ask for a paper for the list of the places that take em so you know where to go use them. Hope this helps a little and saves you time processing youre season pass.

Is there any coupons for the sport bottles in the Season Pass holder book.

No, but as a season pass holder I only paid $9.99 for mine. Not sure though if this is cause I have the dinning pass

It's because of the Dining Pass. I also spoke with Ray the Meal Pass Supervisor, and she said that they would hand out the coupons up to 3:29 for Lunch, so as long as people weren't using them at 5 or 6, they weren't going to be putting people on a strict clock.

Kevin came out and handed the exit passes to all the Xtreme pass holders, so I still haven't broken the "which window to go to" code :D

This Saturday I'll know...

Well, damn. I want my $4 back. I wasn't notified of the reduced price for dining pass holders. The girl at the pop stand told me there were NO discounts available. Typical...

It was actually on the website for Dining pass holders. I'd go into the Customer Service center, maybe they can help you out. :)
