Does anybody here belong to any coaster clubs and what benefits does it have to join one?

I am a member of Coasterbuzz. Basically so that I could go to Coastermania last year. Probably won't renew this year since I won't be going. It's nice there, that there's no ads when on the forums. That's a definite plus.

Iggy Ace-

How much is ACE charging for a membership nowadays?

And exactly what do you get?

it was $50.00 for me and $15 per each family member. You get a newsletter bi-monthly and a rollercoaster mag every quarter. Also they have some great gatherings at the parks with ERT's and they usually giveaway prizes (ACE stuff and sometimes the parks will throw in stuff). The only thing i don't like is you can't use your season passes to the events.

$50 wow. When you say you can't use your season pass - that mean you have to pay even more to get into special events?

ERT's always a good thing though, at least that's offered.

Yea depending on the event and where it is held the parks do give a break on admission and usually have lunch for us. But like me who has Six flags, Cedar Fair and Paramounts season passes that pretty much covers the parks in a 5hr drive around me. Most events are held at the major parks so you pick what eveents will suit your best interent with ERT's.

Oh and as a member you do get half off admission to Holiday World - Indiana Beach - King's Island around me and some hotels and attractions near some parks also offer discounts.
