This showed up on the beaches of Siesta Key , a part of Sarasota (where I live). Ultra weird.

I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

My conspiracy mind is going into overdrive. This Lego Man showed up at the 2011 best beach in the United States. Look it up if you don't believe me. I am now thinking LegoLand Florida is a part of this.

In October 2008, he showed up on the shores of Brighton, England, according to the BBC.

Sorry, just a really well timed coincidence :)

They had this story on Screamscape to. But in that update it said Legoland wanted nothing to do with the stunt.
Don't fight the Bull, ride the Bull!

Best 2011 Moment: "I lost my phone on Raging Bull!"
"WELL I LOST A SOCK!!!"
Best 2012 Moment: "No good! DREAM ON!"
Best 2013 Moment: "I came here for Auntie Anne's pretzels and coasters......in that order!"

Legoland was not behind it, said Julie Estrada, a company spokeswoman. "I wish we could say we did it. It was a brilliant guerrilla PR stunt," she said.

The front of his shirt was emblazoned with a message in fractured English: "NO REAL THAN YOU ARE." The name "Ego Leonard" was written on the back of his shirt.

Google "Ego Leonard," and you'll find he has his own website, written in Dutch with some explanation rendered in a relentlessly cheerful, if somewhat stilted, English translation.

I was thinking the same thing Brad for awhile, but explain how this thing showed up on the west coast of Florida? Someone dropped this in the Gulf and let it go. It would not float from the Netherlands to Sarasota. Geographically its almost impossible.

^Trust me when I say that LEGOLAND's marketing and PR team do not have the funds or time to make that happen. And if they did, they would totally take credit for it. :D
