^Nothing. Just looks like they'll be doing some reprofiling to make it less intense.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.

This is just sad. The ride has only been open for one season and this is like the 4th modification on the coaster. Sad just sad.

It's an intamin, I'd be hard pressed to name a single one of their rides that hasn't undergone at the very least structural changes if not more after like 1-3 years of operation.

It's par for the course.

If you count the restraint issues, wheel issues and trims, well over 10. Sadly, that is not a joke number.

I don't know how tight they are on space but I think they should just try to pull off a over bank turn. I mean the one of Millennium force has such a small pullout and is only 150(some) ft tall. Or hell, I would even be happy if they were to only make the drop down 200ft, turn, go up the bunny hill, then come back down to the ground. It would look tacky, would loose the whole "300ft drop", but it would be more thrilling then get trimmed 1/2 way down a huge drop.

The most shocking thing to me is that the ride operated the entire season and didn't go SBNO at all.

You consider this nothing? With all the technology available today, I see no reason why modifications of this magnitude have to be done. Intamin needs to get their heads out of their asses.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

It really bugs me that CF marketed it so much even after the loss of the 90mph+ status... Those trims made it go what...78mph after that?! SAD. But this to me seems like a Wicked Twister 2008 offseason thing. Was that '08? I don't know haha. But CP took off the backspike to weld it/reprofile it. So I feel that's all they're doin to I305.

^Listening to John Pagle try to put the PR spin on the whole issues was hilarious. Especially with the shirts that said 90+ after the trims.

Wicked Tiwster still has issues, as of this year there were still 2 original cars on the ride, one of them was entirely roped off, no ride should need new cars after less than 10 years. At least SFGAm just bit the bullet and bought a whole new train a few years back rather than running a piecemeal train.

That's the area I was graying out on it when I rode it from row 4 back in Oct. It definitely needed to be done, but now with removing the trims I can only wonder if it will be enough. It was a harsh ride when I rode it.

Anything for those trims to be rid of.

Shouldn't take away much (if anything) from the ride and should actually give you a little more. You'll be able to see for an extra second or two now.
