Hmmm. I feel like it's going to be a ride, not a coaster. I say that because if I were SFSTL, and I were selling 2011 season passes, if it was a new coaster I'd say a new coaster is coming, not a new ride. Coaster is more appealing to people these days.
Look at Cedar Point, they said a new thrill RIDE, and it turned out to be a ride.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was that StarFlyer deal that fell through with CP that went there, or even some sort of observation tower.

I probably wouldn't try it either... it would depend on the landscape.
All of their rides are fairly similar... and I like their "Sky Diver... a free-fall attraction like no other" except it is pretty much a Skycoaster 2.0. The flight tower winch is a good idea... but you know what happens when there are more moving parts.
I know not many people care about flats, but are they getting rid of Falling Star? What's going for this addition?

Oooh, I can't wait to ride this next year. I hope it is open for opening weekend or around then, as I might go then. These look exciting. It might make my boyfriend nervous, as he is afraid of heights, but he'll survive.

No they're getting rid of the swings. I thought I posted this here a while ago, I know I did on APA. I guess they're moving the swings to GAdv.
Originally Tidal Wave and the swings were to be gone, the swings still going to GAdv and St. Louis to get a big coaster but... Al Weber. Gettin' some revenge on Cedar Fair with this. Good move.
Most likely another plan made in the last week of August.
http://www.domainofdeath3.com/images/ri ... /yoyo1.jpg And for this picture, look they found someone to make letters in which it says something other than Yo-Yo, and to me it looks good if they want to call it something other than Yo-Yo. For the name Riverview Racer, my opinion would be to put Riverview on one side, and than Racer on another side panel, and thus leave the other side (the back of the ride) empty, but still have a panel on it. Or on the empty side, put someone in a swing -art.

Word on the street and the artwork points in the same direction, but it looks like it will be coming from Wiener Prater, the original prototype, as it's been eclipsed by the 400+ footer and due to some issues they wont be proceeding with the Rocket conversion. It's pretty neat, probably one of the best one's I've ridden so far, and making it good and creepy is while it's not portable, it has no foundation, just sits on 4 ballasted legs.

This to me just seems perfect for SixFlags St. Louis! I see it appearing very beautiful in the skyline & fitting right in at home near Screamin Eagle.
I do hope one day we get one of these(or the new mondial CF models) & a ferris wheel. These starflyers bring a classic theme to a park that just makes me...happy inside. Haha
I don't know if all of you already know this but Six Flags has conformed that the Skyscreamer will be a perminant addition to the park and not a temporiary attraction just for the 2011 season that was orgianlly planned.

I never thought, & wouldn't say it was "originally planned" but just a rumor that it was non-permanent. Why would they even do that(don't give me that "its SF" bull) it just doesn't make much sense at all, especially if it has a great season.
Oddly enough this is my favorite addition in the chain for 2011. It fits whereas the other additions don't seem to...much at all.
I personally thought if it was gonna be portable, that they would have it tour around all of the parks over the years. I think that could have been a pretty neat idea.
