My new job has the building directly situated along the river, guess what the difference is between a building not on the river... BUGS...spider webs and spiders bigger than i've ever seen, and swarms of bugs.

Plop Great America on a peninsula into Lake Michigan, and i'd like to take a gander that spider webs, gnats, and bugs are all going to become quite the issue, right? But then again, I think CP's allure to me is when I am 300 feet up and there is nothing on the side of me but water for miles, and being able to walk with my girlfriend along the beach at night after spending time in the park.

Its more of a vacation, whereas Great America is my recreational "to-do" when I have a day off in the summer.

I just recently went to CP with 3 of my cousins. We made a road trip out of it and we went around mid-July from wednesday to friday. CP was an amazing experience and not once did we complain about the staff or the cleanliness of the park. Granted it was sunny and 92 degrees, the park was very clean and everyone seemed to be in a happy mood. The rides were all working except for Maverick :x and man we had a thrill!! There were no complaints this trip that we did and we plan on doing it all over again next summer in 2011! Plus, after CP we are doing a Florida trip right after so we're hitting up Universal Studios and Seaworld in Orlando then Busch Gardens in Tampa. Also, after the park, we went to the beach alongside CP and it was gorgeous. It turned out to be a vacation moreso than a visit to a amusement park. I had a great experience at CP, Im sorry you may not have had as good of an experience yourself. But Six Flags Great America will always be my home park and I go every year ;) Also I AGREE with the statement that Raging Bull beats Magnum XL anyday of the week. :D
