2003 Stats

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby SFGA 11 on December 29th, 2003, 1:16 am
This was a thread at Coasterbuzz, so I thought I would bring it over here.

How many parks have you been to this year? New parks? How many coasters? New coasters?

I only went to 3 parks ( SFGAm, SFWoA, and CP ) and rode 34 different coasters ( 11 new ones).

Well my stats are probably not as impresive as everyone else's, but it's a slow night...

Parks: SFGAm
New Parks: IOA, Universal, MGM, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom

Coasters: All coasters at SFGAm
New Coasters: Superman, Dueling Dragons (fire and ice), Incredible Hulk, Space Mountain, Thunder mountain, Primal Whirl, Rock N' Roller Coaster

As you can see this was the first year I've ever been to Orlando (took 16 years!) so I went all out. This also prevented me from a visit to CP, and Big Chiefs in the dells since every dime I had went towards that florida trip. It was worth it though.

Parks- SFGAm
New Parks- Cedar Point
Coasters- Every coaster at SFGAm except SUF
New coasters- 12 of CP's coasters and SUF

Seems boring compared to others probably, but I might go to a few more parks next year.

Not a very large summer for me, but that is what you get when you work an almost full time job, and you go to college.

I am looking forward to getting to a couple more parks next year, and hopefully getting about another 7-8 new coasters onto my list!

That could have saved so much time, why didn't you use excel? I used to have a database when I was 13 but then I stopped doing that. The only thing I do sligtly like that is when I come home from a park I write on my calendar the park/who I was with/most rides on coasters.
