Replace American Eagle with something like El Toro or something better that goes out and back.

Like the idea, there would also be room for a ride like (CHANG) i would love one like El toro, fast with alot of air time, but there is probally a 1/10000 chance thats happening, and even if they announced that, there would be so much public out cry, they would have to keep it up. Am Eagle is probably the parks most beloved ride.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2. Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel) @Coaster_Cole on Twitter
Even though it is nearing 30 years old and popularity has declined over the last 10 years or so, American Eagle is a park icon and still in decent shape when you consider how the Texas Giant was before it went to rehab. It is a massive coaster and has a very tricky location which will be very hard to build a new ride again...whenever that happens.

Agreed, you can probably throw Bull, Batman, Superman and a bunch of the rest in there also. Wood coasters have an infinite life span whereas Steel Coasters have a rather short lifespan. Now if Eagle was a really bad coaster or suffered low popularity then it'd be different, but for being nearly 30 years old and in great shape, I'd say it's still pulling the people in.

American Eagle isn't going anywhere. I think the only time they would ever demolish it is if the park were to completely shut down. I could see them doing a complete refurb, like the Texas Giant, come 55th anniversary?
cough cough RUIN THE TRACK cough cough.... anyone have a lausunge

actually SFGAm really should look into getting the PTC's formerly running on Voyage. Good deal on used trains that have been well maintained and fall within PTC specifications.
I dont see backward operation though anytime soon, except maybe back like the old days for limited time special occasions.

If AE were to ever get a TG like refurb, I could see them running blue backwards for that year, so that if anything happens, it would be fixed later on.
^Except for the fact that Texas Giant has major parts of the ride being removed and changed into basically a new ride with an old name. Not sure what more you can do with a giant racing coaster.

Of course then they would have to redo all of the airgates in the station, plus find one more train since Voyage only had 3.
1- Get New Trains that don't have the Time Wasting Buzz Thing in the Station 2- Add A Tunnel at the Bottom of the First Drop 3- Higher Banking toward the 2nd Half of the Helix 4- Make the Queue Line and Exit Path alot shorter. 5- Make The Queue Line More Interesting (Put Posters of the Rides History / Park History/ Other Wooden Coasters or Something)
