So, what is everyone's best and worst memory at the park? For me, the best would probably be going there for the first time, and taking my first ride on Demon. I remember that ride quite well, as it was my first looping ride. After hours of telling me coasters were fun, my uncle convinced me to go on some more (earlier in the day I nearly cried on Whizzer and American Eagle.) Riding with my mom and dad did not help at all on either of those. However, riding with my uncle on Demon made me love it, and best of all, I didn't fall out! I so thought I was going to fall out in those loops! I mean, what can hold anyone in when they are upside down? :lol:For the worst, one of two things. First is disgusting. Getting off Raging Bull in 1999, at the end of the exit path, a pile of human feces. Enough said. Otherwise, for a non-disgusting occurance, would be the first time waiting for Space Shuttle America. I have no idea how long it was, but for me, it felt like 5 hours. After the long wait in all of the maze (I think back then there was more) in the hot midday sun, we got inside the mission control room. There, the audio went crazy, so we didn't get to see anything happen. After waiting in the waiting room, we went in, sat down, and got kicked out. The ride broke down. After waiting in the waiting room more, we did it again, and it broke again. The third time was the curse. We got to experience the spectacularly boring Space Shuttle America ride! The whole event took at least 2 1/2 hours. What a waste of time!

My best memory had to be my first ride on Raging Bull. We barely made it because of inclement weather and the ride was just awesome. We rode in the back seat and it was incredible. As I have said before, we were yanked over the first hill. That ride is a keeper...As for my worst memory has to be standing there and watching DV valley. I had driven 8 hours to get to the park and expected a ride on it. During testing, they were about to open the line up and just kept going back and forth. They said it would take a while to fix. I was scarred from that experience. But I can always come ride it next year!

I don't really know what my best memory was. I have too many good memories from that park... But probably the second time we went. If we hadn't gone the second time that one year, I probably wouldn't be a coaster enthusiast at this point. It was the first time I rode Batman: The Ride. I was forced onto that thing! It was my first looping coaster, and first big coaster. Before that I usually just rode kiddie coasters. I was too scared to ride BTR, but my brother and parents forced me... and after that ride I wanted to ride again and again. Thats when my obsession began for roller coasters. As for my worst memory, I don't think I have any. Every time I go there I'm always having a good time. Well, actually, when me, my mom, and my friend Amy went for a 2 day trip on August 7th and 8th, when Shockwave was closed both days. Then a few days after that I heard it was gonna be torn down so I was pissed that we didn't get to have some last rides on it.

Best Memory: Last ride on ShockWave, cause I was w/my best friend, and me and her were in the front row at night. Nobody else was on the ride except for us and it was just an awsome and fun time on my favorite Roller Coaster ever!Worst Memory: Last ride on ShockWave as well, because it was my last ride ever on ShockWave! And VERY little did I know next time I enterd the park it would be in pieces :(
Nothing to see here....

My best day at the park is a tie between the Friday of Last Blast and Mothers Day this year, even though Mother's Day was a bit more fun than Last Blast. Both days the park was empty and there were points when you would be the only person on the coaster. On Mothers Day I got to enjoy about 20 rides on Raging Bull without getting off, it was awesome. Also during Mothers Day midday it started to rain a little bit and I remember having some of my best rides on Shockwave, me and my brother and 2 other people we were with were trying to see who could stay on it the longest. It was probally the most painful rides on Shockwave I ever had, not because of headbanging but because of the rain smacking against our faces. It was also cold out, so by the time we got done with 1 ride our faces were completely numb. After 3 rides we both decided to get off. Then during Last Blast we got to ride Deja Vu 13 times in a row, it would been better if they didn't make us run around and get back in line each time though. It was cool getting off Deja Vu though, running back around and making it back before they opened the airgates to ride again. My worst day at the park wasn't even that bad, it was during the 2001 Advocate Health day. Raging Bull was down all day and Deja Vu and Vertical Velocity were still under construction. While the day was sort of a let down, I still made a OK day out of it.

My best memory of SFGAm was when I was on Raging Bull with my 2 best friends. It was nighttime, on our favorite ride, with fireworks going off. It was great. My worst memory of SFGAm was leaving![/b]

Best: June when I was with my girlfriend, my cousin, and my dad at GA! That was the most fun ever! Riding DejaVu was great!Worst: I cannot honestly think of a dull, terrible moment at GA! If I had to say something sucky it would be waiting in lines longer than 30min.!

The best time I had was The last day of Last Blast. It was the best day because me and my friend got on every coaster at least 8 times. The worst time I had was when i was on American Eagle and the lap bar came up. Itcam up right before the first drop. Good thing i pulledit back down and itstayed down.

That is the worst when you get stapled. They do that way too often on MF and you don't really get all the airtime out of the coaster that you could really have. I love airtime, and hate to know that I am missing it because a bar is down way too tight on my groin!

It's hard to not be stapled when you're big.

I remember when I went to Fright Fest last October I was waiting for the front row on V2 and they made one of the employees go on and they stapled him. He didn't like it at all...

V2 is another ride where airtime can be key. Why do they do that? I know it doesn't have to be cutting off your circulation to make it safe, you can have a little bit of room to breath.

Airtime on V2? What V2 are you thinking of, I don't think I have ever gotten any type of airtime on V2 or any impulse for that matter, including Wicked Twister and S:UE.

Yeah, really! The only place you'd get airtime is like the back vertical spike...

You guys are getting too specific. Some people consider airtime and hangtime the same thing. Really, if I'm out of the seat, I'm having fun. If I'm completely upsidedown and out of the seat (I don't think this happens at SFGAm), its hang time, otherwise its airtime. In V2s, case, it's 90 degrees, not 180, so I consider it airtime. Now who's specific?

Yeah seriously, you all knew exactly what I meant. Hangtime, airtime, you're out of your seat. Don't act like you have no idea what I'm talking about. If a penny floats or mysteriously flies up because of forces acting on your body, and you are out of your seat, it is the same thing to me. Sorry I wasn't specific enough.

Biggs. You consider the back 90 degree spike on V2 airtime? Last time I checked, you are getting hangtime on a 90 descent.Same goes for Deja-Vu , but in a more gradual manner.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
