Scream is kind of up there because I recently had a dream that we went to SFMM and started out by riding Scream... and it was just purely amazing.
I would definitely hit up IOA. I rode DD Fire, and it was incredible. The only problem was that I was wearing sandals, and they have no cubbies, so I had to sit on them, and almost lost one. Hulk is just incredible though. The launch into the zero-g-roll is incredible. You think you are going to hit it too fast, and it will be painful, but you don't and you fly upside and realize you are like 100 feet in the air.
Also SheiKra or the Griffon is a must. I rode Sheikra like a few years ago when they had sit down trains, and it was still amazing. Vertical drops are insane.
1. El Toro 2. Voyage 3. Boulder Dash 4. Kentucky Rumbler 5. Lightning Racer 6. Hades 7. Thunder Bolt 8. The Beast 9. Judge Roy Scream (been my favorite name for a coaster since I first heard it) 10. Leap the Dips
and my 10 Steel are
1. X2 2. Millennium Force 3. Maverick 4. Kingda Ka 5. Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE) 6. Chang 7. Mystery Mine 8. Expedition G-Force 9. Olympia Looping 10. Dueling Dragon's - Ice (only got to ride the Fire side on my only visit to IOA)
While you are there ride the mine train....best one there. Also ride STOP
Titan to me is more like Raging Bull, and Millenium Force. - Some airtime The other versions of that type of ride are rides like Goliath (SFOG), and Superman: Ride of Steel. - Massive airtime
I'm thinking the new Behemoth one at Canada's Wonderland is massive airtime too, but I'm not sure because I've never ridden it.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Boulderdash was my number 1 coaster since I rode it 7 years ago. With the trees, the airtime, and the fact the hillside creates a weird out of control feeling makes it all a great ride. I really want to go back there a ride it again.
I have heard that a lot about the Beast. However, it is one of those rides that I've always heard so much about that even if it sucks, I have to ride it.
Well Beast is an ok ride, go with low expectations and you'll be fine. SOB is flat out one of the worst rides on the planet, though I haven't ridden it with the G-trains yet.
Coney Island Cyclone isnt all it's cracked up to be, though if you like an extremely violent ride, you'll like it. It isn't rough, but it is violent and will beat you up some (in a good way)
Shivering Timbers used to be ok until Cedar Fair bought the park, now it runs like total crap, slow and very rough.
Rest are pretty solid though.

Oh don't get me wrong it's worth the credit, and it's actually kinda fun at night but I didn't see it live up to this reputation a lot of people seem to give it so really anticipointment would be the case
JordanSDMF wrote:In response to all of that, here are some woodies that I think are amazing and I really want to ride.
1. Voyage 2. Boulder Dash 3. Tremors 4. Hades 5. Zeus 6. El Toro 7. Beast/Son of Beast 8. Shivering Timbers 9. Coney Island Cyclone 10. Legend
Tell me if any of those suck
Zeus is rough but not bad, Beast isn't really great and SoB I really liked with the loop but I haven't ridden it since then, Coney Island Cyclone was the roughest roller coaster I ever experienced, it had some airtime but I got off and my heart hurt
I think some of the Beasts reputation came from enthusiast from the 70's and 80's. Back then the ride really looked like a kick ass coaster. And by looking at there stock footage from its opening year it seems like it had decent airtime, smoother, and faster. The last time I rode it was nothing like that at all. Now it was still a fun ride especially at night but was a big disapointment. Now if you were an enthusiast in the 70's and you rode it when the ride was great and you had it as you top ten coaster...they might not have ridden anything better since then. So they may keep rating Beast as there number 1 coaster.
I think its the same reason why Magnum XL 200 kept being the number one coaster. Because opening year it was the tallest and fastest coaster around...and people who rode it then keep rating it as number 1.
I kind of feel the same way about M-Force at Cedar Point and S:ROS at New England. I rode Force when I was 10 opening year and at the time I loved it and thought it was the best coaster out there. Then the next year I rode S:ROS and I thought that was the best coaster ever. I didnt have many coasters on my list then so those are on the top...and I dont know when they will ever change.
Then if you take people who rode the Force who have also been on Maverick, TTD, El Toro, Voyage, ect it may not live up to its hype. Because to them, they rode better coasters else where.
I dont think Boulder Dash has much air, then again I rode it the day after riding El Tor 7x so that might be biased . The Beast at night in the front row is one of the best rides anywhere in my opinion. The hills, though they dont have much air is like getting lost in the woods. You seriousley dont know where the hell you are. Then the double helix and the tunnel are insane, I love that ride (better than Boulder Dash).
Magnum and Millennium Force keep getting in the top 10 because of the excessive amount of people with CP shirts and glasses straps that keep voting it in, which is why polls mean nothing.

When I rode Boulderdash in 2001 it was my favorite coaster ever. And since that was the only time I have ridden it I cant say if I would like it better or not. And I think I only had 30(ish) coasters then so i though it was awesome (better then the Force). So I kind of want to see what would happen to my list if I take another ride on it.
Goliath at Walabi World is actually alot tamer than it looks, I would even call it borderline boring. Expedition GeForce is a whole lot better not all that far away from Walibi.
