I had a few pictures from 2007 sitting around so may as well put them to use.
This is me with Murray from the Wiggles.
Ay!
2007 could be considered the year of the show promo's everywhere.
When I say everywhere, I mean everywhere
Ah Six Flags Great America. And yes this "lanscaping" in front of the Carousel was there for a good day or so, until they realized they cant go out and dance there with bushes in the way .
What is this peering behind the trees?
OMG its HOMETOWN PARK!
...I mean, DejaVu! The greatest thing since the Swedish penis enlarger in Austin Powers.
That tied off seat in 1-B is breaking my balls in these pictures.
I bet you miss this view.
Its okay though, cause youll get to spray water at people in this spot next year.
More pictures of the loop for redundancy purposes.
This was never used.
The parks skyline.
Hurricane Harbor =======>
So this ride got you wet...and the ride in front of it you can no longer ride single...and the ride behind both of those you swing back and forth for a small fortune.
DejaVu....THROUGH THE TREES (okay that was entirely innapropriate).
Bow to Vekoma.
One of the best flats in the park, meet one of the best coasters in the park (nevermind that Fantastic 4 billboard in the foreground).

This was the first year of the qbot. SFGAm was actually the 2nd park to get this system behind Dollywood.
And now its time for pics of all the theme area signs in Carousel Plaza:
Sky Trek Tower and some shrubbery. If you cant tell, I like shrubbery.
DejaVu is ready for you! [insert credit here]
Rule #1 of working at SFGAm, dont park under the pretzel loop. Those people are crazy.
This picture makes me want to take a Whizzer.
DROP THE PASCOM, SEAL THE BAY!
The view from the train station.
Hometown Square, shrubbery. What else could you want?
I loved the Marvin show. Was actually 3d and really fun.
Back in 2002 this is where we all used to stand waiting for the park to open to run to DejaVu listening to the old school Marriott HTS loop. That indian guy was the only one to ever beat Dave.
DejaVu looked so awesome at SFGAm. Look at it. LOOK AT IT!!!!! Just so you know thats from a Spongebob episode where Spongebob thinks he's ugly and Patrick picks him up and tells everyone "LOOK AT IT!!!! ITS UGLY ISNT IT!!!" Good stuff.
Jumpin, Jammin.
The guests who ride Allies Trolly in the parade all assemble behind this building before it starts. Then the floats come out of these doors. Fascinating.
This isnt Captain Picards enterprise.
Aunt Martha's has themed napkins. I didnt notice this until last January.
Winner winner chicken dinner.
Stop. Go. Stop. Go. About to turn red. Go. Stop. Go. Oh this is a 2007 TR....its back!
In case your wondering SFGAm designs their landscaping in RCT.

You may notice all of the midways are extremely clean. I think by playing Christina Agulara's Car Wash throughout the midways in 2008 made them think the park was clean, instead of actually budgeting for a lot of sweepers like they did in 07 .
Its everyones least favorite B&M flyer.
Contrary to popular belief, theres no lack of trees in front of SUFs pretzel loop.
This view is certainly less intimidating with SUF.
See?
Speaking of less intimidating.
Atmosphere.
One last look at SUF
They repainted the Chaos pond with the leftover paint from the reflection pond, so it went from being dark blue to light blue.
Manny B was my favorite show at SFGAm... ...other than Operation Spygirl of course.
Its the original "good sign." This was later replaced twice for no reason.
The outside doesnt have as much landscaping as CGAs.
But the inside looks MUCH better than CGAs, no slow down rail!
Cool! Thanks for taking the time to post these. I can' believe how much things have changed from last year. You realize the bigger changes, but there were a lot of smaller ones too.
WHY did you post that? I will give any1 $100 to take me back to 2007 NOW This just proves SFGam is NOTHING without a Giant Inverted Boomerang and a ageless water ride that was short BUT sweet
Those were some of the best photos of the park I've ever seen!!!! Excellent job on the Trip Report!!!!! It honestly made me cringe a little to see how nice some aspects of our park were just one year ago, and how bad they look now. Granted, I agree with the rides being removed, and I like Dark Knight in place of the TR, but still, it looked so much better last year, or maybe it was just your photos!!! Thanks for posting bud!!!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
What PISSES me off about SWF is that so many other Six Flags parks still have theres and our is gone with nothing replacing it for the foreseeable future. They would have been better off leaving the thing standing and just not operating it.
