Universal Studios Hollywood = $12 Disneyland (DL & DCA)= $12 Sea World San Diego = $12 Knotts (Theme Park) = $10 Six Flags Magic Mountain = $15
Queue-skip prices:
Six Flags is still using paper flashpass tickets availible for $20 or $25 peak for 4 rides. They will be getting lo-q system soon so I would expect those prices to skyrocket when that happens.
Universal Studios front of the line pass is $120 (OUCH).
Yeah but our parking is $15 for the far lot and $25 for the closest one to the gate. We are not any cheaper. I don't get this. SFMM $15 parking everywhere? Or one area like we have?
The only park in socal that I know has preferred parking is USH for $20, if other parks offer it its not on their website. DLRs Downtown Disney disctrict has a parking lot seperate from the theme park parking structures for 3 hours free + $6/hr after that (cap of $30). Knotts has a seperate lot for Chicken Dinner Resturaunt/TGI Fridays thats 3 hours free + $3/hr after that with a cap of $15.
...and now were way off topic, point being its more expensive to park at SFMM than any other park in socal.
First of all, We are Way off topic and as FParker185 posted in the forum, Not Forum Etiquette.
I think they should sell some parks and the parks are rather easy to point out Like the Last Selling in 07 to PARC Management.
They should keep - Six Flags Over Texas - Six Flags Over Georgia - Six Flags St. Louis - Six Flags Great Adventure - Six Flags Wild Safari Animal Park - Six Flags Magic Mountain - Six Flags Great America - Six Flags Fiesta Texas - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, LA - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, TX - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, NJ - Six Flags Whitewater, Atlanta - Six Flags New England - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
And Sell - Six Flags America (Do Like What Cedar Fair did to Geauga Lake BUT ANNOUNCE IT SIX FLAGS!!!!) - Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom - The Great Escape - La Ronde - Six Flags Mexico
I think Dan Snyder should take advantage of the Low Stock Price and buy like 2-4 Million More Shares to have more Ownership of the Company.
I wish Six Flags Could turn into a Privately Owned Company and not have to deal with Financial Problems as much anymore. There are tons of Companies that are Privately owned and Doing Well Like:
AMC Theaters Bass Pro Shop Chrysler Enterprise Rent A Car Ford Motors Quik Trip And More
Yeah I always wanted to know if Mexico shows any profit for them? They don't have nearly as many rides as we do and the ones that do aren't exactly any special.
^ This is what Lance Hart said from Screamscape about Six Flags Mexico when I e-mailed him:
It's just a different market and it kind of runs itself and they don't try to intergrate it in with the rest of the chain.
And...
Mexico is it's own thing... but apparently the park is popular with the locals and profitable, and the locals don't expect big new rides every year the way the US market became used to having when Premire Parks ran things into the ground.
That might be why The Dark Knight is planning to be built there so It can be more appreciated by the less Critical Audience.

I think they should get de-listed from the NYSE so that way, they don't have to pay Investors. They can run the company as they see fit instead of being a puppet to the Investors. That Way, all the Money they make, they keep!!! They don't have to pay anyone because they are only using money, they have.
Its like Changing from a Credit Card to a Debit Card in my opinion.
It would still be traded, just not on the NYSE. It would likely go to the OTC which is where a bunch of other penny stocks are listed (some trading on only tenths of a penny). The company already doesn't pay dividends, so they don't pay the investors.
at least one article I read mentioned a 10-1 reverse split, could get the stock up to a whopping $5 a share
Sucks thinking back when I bought some SF stocks at $20 a while back after thinking, "well it came down from $40 a share, how much lower can it go?" showed me good.

The one positive is they have a good 4-5 months to figure out what they want to do before they are desisted. A 10-1 seems a bit much as that would screw a lot of people, but that is a risk one takes when the invest.
Today October 27th, 2008, Six Flags INC is trading at .29 Cents per share.
You must Maintain a $1.00 trade mark, They may have already been sent there Deficiency Notice, they would have 90 days/180 days to get back up to $1 to meet MINIMUM mark up, otherwise, they are delisted
How Delisting Works The rules for delisting depend on the exchange and which listing requirement needs to be met. For example, on the Nasdaq, the delisting process is set in motion when a company trades for 30 consecutive business days below the minimum bid price or market cap. At this point, Nasdaq's Listing Qualifications Department will send a deficiency notice to the company, informing it that it has 90 calendar days to get up to standard in the case of the market value listing requirement or 180 calendar days if the issue is regarding the minimum bid price listing requirement. The minimum bid price requirement, which is $1, and the market value requirement (minimum $5 million, provided other requirements are met) are the most common standards that companies fail to maintain. Exchanges typically provide relatively little leeway with their standards because most healthy, credible public companies should be able to meet such requirements on an ongoing basis. Six Flags MAgic Mountain isnt one of the High Attendancee Six Flags. Beleive it or not. Its one of the least. Yet, I still dont get why they get all the rides, and the good ones. Great Adventure has the highest attendance.
