It seems as if Californians went out to vote in record numbers. There are still plenty of absentee ballots to count, but Arnold in/Davis out doesn't seem too far off.
Hmm... 5,000 page views. Still 4,400 shy of the SUF Construction post.Shoot. I cannot believe that the cubs dropped that one. I am seriously going to go cry. Woo 300th post!
I wouldn't cry just yet. Tomorrow's going to be a big game. Prior will need to pull a win in Wrigley before going to Miami. It'll be my third time seeing Prior pitch, and it should be a great game. If the Series goes to 7 games, the Marlins will face Prior/Wood twice. Hang in there guys.
Nobody's covering the Cubs game tonight on the forums? 11-0 Cubs! YAY!EDIT: WTF! Right after I post this Marlins hit a home run! 11-1 now. Lets keep it that way. EDIT AGAIN: AH WTF! Another homerun right after I posted it 11-2 now. *getting nervous*
HOLY COW! Can you believe it? The fact that the Cubs are playing for the pennant is still sinking in. Big win. Sosa had a BIG home run. Farthest i've seen one hit in a while.3 wins till world series (sorry Galavan, I'm stealing your line ) !How about that super wild pitch? It landed on the fly in the marlin's 1st base dugout. Best pitch I've seen in a while!
Wow. Yesterday's game was great. It was the second night game at Wrigley that I've been to this month, and it was one wild ride. Tomorrow's game should be a great matchup, with Wood v. Redman. For those who care, Blackhawks are 1-0 in the regular season and the Bulls are 0-1 in the pre-season.Oh, and tickets for Game 7 of the Marlins-Cubs series goes on sale tomorrow at 8am.

The Bull's lose was too be expected. 4 of thier main players this year sat out: Pippen, Curry and Rose sat out for verious reasons while Jay Williams will miss the whole season due to the motocycle accident he was involved in over the summer. They have a great team this year though, but it looks like it's going to be a matter of keeping everyone heathly.
Did anyone watch Channel 7 news at 10 last night? If you did, you probably saw Vito Johnson get interviewed for catching Alex Gonzalez's homer onto Waveland. He's my cousin. I wonder how much that ball costs.
I didn't catch your cousin, but I did see the interview with the guy who caught Sammy Sosa's first post-season home-run ball. That ball is probably worth something, but the guy who caught it said he would only sell it to Sammy himself.
The Sosa one probably won't be worth much then a regular Sosa home run ball I assume. Afterall it wasn't a game winning home run ball, it just lead to extra inning's where they later lost.
I would never sell a home run ball, if I caught one. Unless of course it had a big significance like Barry Bonds 600th home run, then I would consider selling it .
In line for the final ride of Deja Vu, the guy in front of me was getting updates on the game lol, I was very glad to hear they won! One more game! Also, im not sure if anybody has heard this yet...but I've been hearing in the movie "Back to the Future" they were looking at a book of future events and it says Cubs win the 2003 World Series...anybody have the movie that can confirm this?
I don't have the movie, but I have seen clips on all the Chicago news-shows this weekend. The movie is Back to the Future Part 2. Marty McFly sees a futuristic billboard where it says the Cubs win the World Series agaist the Miami Gators(Florida Marlins), in which Florida was not even a team when the movie was made in the 1980's. Of course, the Cubs are meeting the Marlins in the NLCS, but it's weird in itself. On a side-note, it seems as if the movie Demolition Man foresaw Arnold Schwarzeneger becoming President(now Governor of California).
