Well, the day started out for me at 10:20am, I took a bus from Rosemont.
Anyway it was a great day, except that it stormed around 7pm. It wasn't suppose to rain that day!!!
So, after getting into the park, I headed over for the Flash Pass sales center, waited for about 15 minutes or less, bought a regular for $27. This thing saved me alot of time the entire day, because of it, I was able to get alot of rides in. So It was going on 11am, I bolted over to Bull to meet a friend, Jackluver17, Melissa.
I had a reservation for RB at 11:14am, M went ahead and rode RB, while I hovered in the area, not straying far from Bull at all, cause my 11:14 ride time was coming up fast. When it was time for my ride, I took front seat on the Teal train, about 15 minutes before, the RB crew put on the yellow train for a 3 train op.
I got to see this up close...
M, I saw you waiting at Bull's exit gate on the platform, I waved at you, wonder if you saw me. This was right before I got on the Teal train.
After RB, I decided to reserve Giant Drop, it was a short but exciting ride none the less.
After GD, it was about noonish or close to it. I headed for American Eagle red, at this time of day the Eagle blue side wasn't running, and red was the only side available. So I took it. Front row. I kept saying to myself how the Wiggles World was a waste of space as I was walking in the Eagle's new que line. I liked the old que line much better. I had put down a reservation for BTR at this time, but cancelled it soon after in favor of Iron Wolf, since it was alot closer, and I haven't made it to BTR yet. After AE:red, I took my Iron Wolf ride a few minutes after 1pm. Next I put down a Reservation for V2 at 1:56pm, I had some time so I decided to wait in line for Roaring Rapids, I waited for about 30 minutes, In line I was talking with a few kids from Iowa who came with their church group, Taylor and Crelor or something like that, they had ryhming names.
Anyway, I didn't get as soaked as much as I would have liked to after the ride, but it helped for a little bit, about 30 minutes and I was dry again. Around this time, I started heading for V2, my reservation was a few minutes away.
After my ride on V2, it was about 2:20ish, I put a reservation for BTR now at 2:45pm. I started heading in BTR's direction, I met up with M and her friend in Mardi Gras, near King Chaos around 2:30 or so. We set another meet up time for 4pm, in front of Bull. Anyway I went to lunch at, Papa Johns in Orleans Place, at this time of day, the lines for TDK were crazy. I ate chicken strips and fries, I ended up being 10 minutes late for my BTR ride. But, I made it around 3pm. I knew if I was to meet M at RB at 4pm, that I would have to have a RB reservation for around that time, after the ride being FULL for about 15 minutes, I was finally able to put one down for 3:52pm. Then I got on BTR.
After BTR, it was about, 3:20ish or so...I thought if I had a little more time, I'd be able to get a quick ride on Viper, but after stoping at Carousel Plaza Gifts, I had no time left for that. Now, I arrived at RB a few minutes early, 5 minutes before my reservation. I waited 20 minutes for M, but you never showed up did you? I wouldn't wait no longer, I was very late for my RB ride. What happened? So, I took my RB ride, after wards, it was about 4:40, I think. I had a reservation for Superman at 5:20, I started heading for Superman,
I think I was cutting this one very close, because the Superman reservation might have been earlier?
I arrived at SUF, a little after 5pm, took my ride on it, was all done by 5:20, yes my SUF reservation might of been much eariler. I put down a TDK reservation for 6:20 after that, I decided to head for Viper, because I had time to do so. After Viper, my TDK ride time was VERY close, I had to run to get to it in time.
However, when I got to TDK at 6:20, the lady told me it was closed, what happened, and why? I cancelled TDK, and headed for BTR, before I got to BTR, I put a reservation for RB at 7:25, when I got to BTR, I waited in line for about 10 minutes before they told us that the ride had broken down!!!! What Luck!!
It was about this time that I noticed the sky getting dark, I headed over to American Eagle blue, when the sky started getting even darker, I started to run, trying to beat the storm clouds for a ride on the Eagle.
I got to AE:blue, and it was already drizzling light rain, not heavy yet. I was the 4th or 5th person waiting for front row. Then all hell broke loose, the heavy rain came around 7ish or so, lightning and thunder the whole she-bang!!!! I ended up being the first one waiting for front row, since the people in front of me left the line. I waiting for 20 or 30 minutes, before taking my ride on Eagle blue, all the while I was talking it up with a cute ride op named Kimberly. (Damn, I should of gotten her number!) I got my ride on AE: blue around 7:30, I noticed my reservation for RB, got pushed an hour ahead, then 15 minutes ahead later, why? I had a headache, and the Eagle's large helix didn't help, but I didn't care.
After Eagle, I took my 3rd and final ride on the Raging Bull, they took the teal train off, it was only Red and Yellow running, I got the red train. After RB, it was 8:30, I didn't quite have enough time for another reservation, since I had to get to my bus before 9:15!!! Anyway, as I was going up RB's lift hill, I noticed that the Demon had no line what-so-ever!!! I had 30 minutes left and I wanted more, I returned my little helpful friend Q, then I bolted over to the Demon. I was able to get 4 rides in a row on the Demon, with the last half hour!!! As soon as one rideI would jump out, lightning fast out of the car, and bolt around and be back for another ride in less the a few minutes!!!! I would of got a 5th ride on Demon if the Supervisor wasn't standing on the platform, plus it was 9pm now. I had to get out FAST!!!!
I ran to the front gate, picked up some extra park maps from Guest Relations, got some peanut butter crackers on the way out too. I was looking for the Rosemont bus, I thought it would be in the same place as it was in the morning, behind SUF, but it was the Shuaumburg bus, I saw M again, getting ready to board her bus. We said goodbuy, and I found my bus. For all the billions of dollars spent in technolgies such as dopplar and other weather technologies, the weatherman STILL can't predict the weather correctly!!!
I wonder if anyone else saw me that day, I was wearing a black Children of Bodom t-shirt with the reaper, olive green khaki's, and a navy blue visor.
