TTD vs. Raging Bull

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I would love to see SFGAm get a combo of Xcel and TTD. That would be great. I'm sure the launch tophat brakes is going to get old if every park starts putting just that in - I'd like to see some overbanked turns, helices, bunny hops, that would be nice.

Aero,I wasn't comparing RB and TTD. I said which would you rather have in the park!! It was a question leading to a discussion on which one people would rather have based on the strenghts of each coasterthanks for your responses people!! Keep em coming

well in that case....i want em both. they both are incredible rides (i know first hand) and since they are different types, they could both exist in one park...but i'd want TTD first... 8)

Thats really a hard choice. RB has some great drops, TTD has one. RB has no launch. RB gives more airtime than TTD. RB is 50mph slower than TTD. I think at first Id want TTD, but in the long run Id want RB.
Eh, what's up?

This topic is pretty much tired. RB and TTD are 2 different experiences in coasters. It ends here.Closing.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

im goin for RB because would u rather go on a (im guessing i dont know how long it lasts) a 25 second ride or a 3 min ride i would much rather wait 15-20 mins for a 3 min. non stop thrill than wait fricken 5 1\2 hours for 20 sum seconds of going straight and up and down a spiral woopty do. so RB all the way. but dont get me wrong TTD looks pretty damn cool.
ive been to sfga a total of 10 times since aug. of 99 my fav is raging bull & superman ultimate flight heck i love all of the.

TTD is better. Its more thrilling. You never can get that type of thrill out of RB.

A couple months ago, sure, legaly I was a child. Now I'm not. But anyways, people, I don't use only sarcasm. I also patronize people. :lol:Oh, I was just stating a fact that there are children on this site, and I'm sure sometimes they become disgruntled. But anyways, next time you have a qualm, don't make a topic about it. I'm posting this here so everyone knows.8. Travis if you really are going to resign then the conversations here would be that interesting. I like when you are sarcastic but you make good points while doing so. If anyone here got a sarcastic comment from Travis before has to admit it was funny even though they got mad about it.

Now that I have 4 TTD rides under my belt, against 9 on RB... I can say that TTD is so much better. More extreme, more speed... more everything (except airtime, although there is a lot on that tophat). And believe it or not, I have waited longer for RB than I have for TTD.
