Of all the 3 Deja Vu's the one at SFOG has got to be the worst. Why another company would want it is beyond me.

BTW, Screamscape rumors are worthless at best.

Replace all 3 Deja-Vus with Mr. Freezes and I will be happy.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I like the idea of all the Vu's being replaced with Mr. Freeze too. I really liked that ride.

Screamscape isn't always true, so don't believe everything you read there.

Personally, I doubt Vu is going anywhere. To build something so big only 6 years ago, why would it go? Also, with all the problems, why would anybody want it?

But Freeze replacing OUR Vu would look good cause it would sit right next to BTR.

Ahhh...that is the first time I have heard that command. Time will tell, however, if it ends up being the last time.

Mmmmm, if only Mr. Freeze wasn't so big and expensive.

I would settle for taking out Deja Vu and V2 to get Mr. Freeze somewhere. :D

as much as I love Vu, I cant see it being around all that much longer. Land might be better used for something else with higher capacity and more uptime. I personally would like to see an Intamin Triple Wheel back, but either that or a coaster would be nice.

Great America needs a new Triple Wheel, it at least worked half the time. Every time I mention the park and I mention Sky Whirl to someone they tell me they miss that ride so much. Unfortunately, I doubt it'll ever happen though.

Either that or an enclosed coaster with awesome lighting effects would be great. A S&S Screamin' Swing would be great too.

Theyre not going to take out one maintenence nightmare to add another maintenence nightmare. I can tell you Vu is more reliable than the Screamin Swing at SFNE.

DejaVu is not being removed.....and if it were it would probably just be a Thomas Town anyway.....so I dont see why anyone would want it to be .

if SFGAm wanted a screamin swing, I'd want it to be up on the skycoaster platform, seems like a reasonable location :)

DejaVu, V2 and other coasters are staying, and they are not going anywhere anytime. If our park was to add a coaster, don't worry we have a whole bunch of land.

Wow, I didn't know Mark Shapiro posts on sfgamworld.com ;) ***<edit> Due to a minor mental mistake, I had formerly typed the name Robert Shaprio (a famous attoryney) instead of Mark Shapiro. Thanks for the correction. </edit>***

Beware, Mr. Shapiro - you will read many comments about people dreaming about multi-million dollar coasters that you obviously won't be buying anytime in the foreseeable future as you have a hefty debt to worry about paying off first. But, don't crush their dreams, Mr. Shapiro. Let them continue to believe that one year soon SFGAm will be home to a $15+ million floorless or $15+ million Intamin rocket coaster, or maybe even both!

Also, don't let them know that *IF* you do decide to take out a coaster one day, that you *might* actually not replace it with another coaster.

Please, don't crush the hope and dreams of today's youth. Let them continue to believe that the future will be a bright one for Great America...that way they will always think of da Nile (the Nile) as a river in Egypt, and never believe it might possibly also have another meaning.

(pardon the horribly overused bad pun :))
