Let us know how your day at the park was.

I love Fright Fest because...

So I proceeded to arrive at the park at around 9:00am. It dissapointed me, but I was still second in line. This was also the point I met up with LAFFfan4lyfe and her brother.

As usual we were forced to the chain by the Carousel. Quite annoying, due to the fact that we had a yellow tag releasing the chain, totally not knowing what she was doing.

I decided to sprint over to Deja Vu, only to see it caught in the loop after a second tower miscatch. But me being me, I decided to wait it out. I couldn't tell if they were still doing AM's, but they got it back up and did a final test. By this time LAFFfan4lyfe was up in the queue and we got on first ride of the day in 1A. You know, same ride as usual. Cept for our second tower miscatch.

This was the first time I've gotten a miscatch in the front, so it was very interesting to see the process of getting the train back to the catchcar. But I really don't know if it was something I should of seen. Because it made me feel SO much safer. Wait, something else made me feel twice as safe. The fact that we crept up the second tower every so slowly. That has to be the most awkward feeling ever. It feels like you're about to fall out. But that's not important right now.

We got off the ride, now with an exit pass in our hands and proceded to...Terror Twister. We got the Insomia cycle, which is very mediocre in my opinon. Car 3...but it still dosen't match up to Dan running car 8.

At this time we decided to go in the oppisite direction and go over to Superstition. Very mediocre, they need to lose the red lights, like really soon.

We kind of just walked around, watched the Magician thing going on over by BBNP. Went over to Angelo's for lunch. FULL QUEUE. And only one cashier. Shame on you Six Flags. We decided to get tickets for the train, and got distracted by the Batman arcade. I was so close to getting that DS light. Once you figure out the timing window for these games, it's Izie Pie. (ITG pun)

We missed our train. Yup. We missed it. So we rode Spaceley's. Best Vekoma ever made. Back Row, EJECTOR AIR!

We finally caught this train ride. It was okay. It's a lot more sectioned than Scooby Doo was. But oh well, I can't complain.

So we got off the train. And went over to Love At First Fright. Got my trademark seat. Front Row Stage Left, 4 seats from the right. =] Dracula Broke a lightbulb during "I've Got a Spell on you." OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. Igor no longer does his 3 seconds of "Sexy Back." It's probably the most saddening thing ever.

We decided to head over to Necropolis to visit some friends. They seem to be A LOT more creative with the hiding spots this year. Freak show was entertaining. Worlds Shortest Woman. 22 inches tall and 20 years old. Something you really need to see to believe.

We used our Exit Passes on Raging Bull. Row 6. Great Floater on the first and third hill. It competes with back for sure.

We decided to head over to Panda Express. And then LAFF. Once again, my trademark seat. 3rd show of the day right here. The crowd was a lot more into it than I've ever seen before. So it was an AMAZING performance. Very nice to all.

We decided to wait around for "Welcome to my Nightmare." This could have been a really good show, but I really don't like how the vocals totally drown out the background music. Besides that, it would have been really really good.

Before I darted off to leave we decided to go over to Necro again.
But well there was a line...quite a line. Here! You get a diagram!

Image

That basically totaled out to a 20 minute wait for Necro. It's cooler at night, because they actually act up a bit more than during the day. But I feel sorry for the people who went for the Haunted House. It was an hour wait for TICKETS. Looked pretty bad.

At this point I called it a night.
And left.

...because I don't need rides to keep me entertained. :)

i tell people this all the time: you don't have to to go to sfgam and just ride the rides to have fun, and this was a good example.....yes, we didn't ride a lot of rides mostly because of long lines and my little brother is scared of them, but still, you don't have to ride a bunch of thrill rides to have fun....
