What are your opinions about the Hold-Up Express? This is the train.
I do see that the railroad gate in Southwest Territory is a problem. The train stops right by Demon (near the headless horsemen), and the gates go down. The trian stops there for about 10 minutes or so with a skit going on. It also stops before the County Fair station for another skit.
I think it's kind of awful on the story, and the plotline. Scooby-doo was a lot better. Yes, I understand that you can't have the same show all the time, but why didn't they just make a new story up, and say "new Scooby Doo" story. Also, I didn't like that there aren't any decorations on the train at all except the Spiders, and they were squirting water. Maybe, this is just because it's very early in the season.
When you go to the train, you need to get a ticket to reserve your seat. You get a time, and come back. You can wait if you don't have a ticket, but you might not get on.

Where are the skeletons in the park that talk, and why doesn't the John Travolita Revolting skeleton not doing anything?
The two I know are one in Yankee Harbor near the Whirligig that sings. The other skeleton must have broke. This was one wasn't moving, or talking (with mouth) like the other one. Poor old skeleton. Rest in peace. The John Revolting one was right next to Ragin' Cajun.
Where is the beating heart one, and the one that tells jokes? I couldn't find them. I also didn't see the band that plays music. Is it just because everything is not out yet?? There didn't seem to be a lot of tombstones that had sayings on them like before.

Blood River doesn't seem to be in the brochure. Is this not operating frightfully during this time? The sign says that all the water rides aren't operating, and Roaring Rapids is drained.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
personally, i thought FF was really nice so far this year. yeah, of course stuff is packed, but i loved the theming, and the scaractors were good, i saw lots of people freak out....
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
they added two people, they both look kind of like travelers....one is wearing a black dress with a fur wrap, and the other one was wearing a jacket and what looked like a fur hat kind of....he was carrying around a suitcase.....i'm not sure what they're supposed to be, but i saw them there twice yesterday..
Now that FF 2006 is over, I thought i'd post this bit of interesting news I found on JPM's site, (The Company that hires the creature crew)
10/31/06
Creature Crew Wraps Out at Six Flags and Navy Pier
JPM's Creature Crew finalizes its Halloween production schedule on an UP Note from the Mid west! AND has already started on Halloween 2007! Creature Crew will get the updates soon on what to expect but think BIG as we are in the planning stages of increasing the size and scope of the Six Flags Great America event.
For employment opportunities and to get on our data base for productions that are happening... check out the JPM site and fill out the forms completely.
The FIRST Fright Fest auditions will be at SIx Flags Great America January 20-21st. More details will be given later.
This is something that has been talked about for some time. I hope this time it actually happens, I guess shapiro figured out that "Family Fright Fest" just plain doesn't work. We shall see where this new developement leads.
