Anyone ever been on this coaster? I'm going to Sea World Orlando tomorrow, and was just wondering... what's there to do at that park? Any other tips are appreciated.

What's there to do? Eh....while I've only been to Sea World San Diego...I can say that there's about three rides there and unless you LOVE marine animals, there's not much to do.

That coaster I doubt I will ever get on because of the $60 or so it takes to get on it.

^ Yeah. This is about the only amusement park in Florida I haven't been to yet, so my Dad decided to go there for a day, then to BGT the next day. I went on the website, also, but the place looks a bit boring (after Kraken, of course). I'm not much of an animal lover, but that sea lion show looks kinda funny.

I was at Sea World last December. Kraken was my first floorless coaster, and it was actually better than I expected. The line was short in the morning, allowing for re-rides.

Other than Kraken, there is Journey to Atlantis. The only other "ride" is the simulator, Wild Arctic.

The sea lion show, "Clyde and Seamore," was decent. The pre-show with the mime was better, though.

We finished most of the park by 4 pm, arriving at the park for opening. We didn't catch Shamu, as the shows were filled to capacity with the holiday crowd. Since we had the multi-park flex ticket, we finished the day/night at Univeral Studios and had a better time there.

Kraken was mostly walk on all day when i went, and it wasnt that empty in the park. Journey into Atlantis you can expect to be crowded. You dont get super wet, but its kinda cool i guess. The wild Artic isnt worth waiting so long for. It moves sllooooooww. Wait towards the night to ride it. Sky tower costs $3.00/person and lasts about 5 minutes. On a clear day you can see Universal and Disney, mainly Tower of Terror. Blue Horizons is a pretty good dolphin show. You can also touch the dolphins and feed them. The only way ull get the dolphins anywhere near you is if you have fish. I think its 6 fish for $5 but im not sure. The shamu show changed again but it fills up fast! Theres also sting rays u can touch and a penguin exhibit which has A/C. Preferred Parking is a rip off and finally, if ANY bad weather is "threatening the area" you can expect everything outside to be shut down, even if the storm never comes directly over the park. It is the same thing at BGT, and its usually between 2-4:00 everyday when theres some rain, so be prepared. Have fun!

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Kraken = a great floorless coaster. very interactive & exciting. Good elements.

feed the dolphins, go see eeels! the sharks, shamu show, do everything. Its a great park. Worth the $60.

You should drop by DISCOVERY COVE...you swim with dolphins, stinrays, etc...its like $500 though & Im sure you wouldved had that planned...you need reservations anyways. I only brought it up cause its affiliated with sea world.

...but Seaworlds great in my opinion. Its very nice there.

Kraken is the best floorless coaster and my favorite steel coaster in the world. Seriously you get Raging Bull air on that first drop, it's simply amazing. The landscaping is great as well.
