Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Skull Island at the end of this season will no longer be the world's largest water-play structure. Hersheypark is adding Boardwalk, which will consist of many new water rides and food. The East Coast Waterworks is their new water-play structure with 7 slides.

^ Kids don't really care about it too much. From what I see at the park, I think there parents are afraid of getting seperated from their small children.

Well then parents are going to be really afraid to let their kids go in Hersheypark's water-play structure...

That thing is WAY too cold to play on for more than 10 minutes.

Trust me, if that water was heated I'd be on it all the time.

It's usually busy, but I agree the water is freezing. It feels like stright hose water, even on a hot day it's too cold. Especially when compared to the wave pool.

I think the coaster wars for height and speed might take a little break. I don't see those records being broken for at least 3 to 4 years.

Am I the only one impressed with the amount of water attractions they are adding? I've been to Hersheypark before and that area isn't all that big and to fit in a bowl slide, proslide tornado, two tube slides, a flowrider, a wave pool, a kiddy pool, and the largest water treehouse in the world is incredible! And add that to the existing body slides, the Roller Soaker, and the two other water rides in that area, this is going to make for one insane water area! I seriously think that Hersheypark is the smartest when it comes to expanding.
