Correct me if I'm wrong but I wanna see that straight from Intamin.

Actually there was a whole segment on a coaster show a few years ago about it.

The space shuttle does twist when ascending in order to enter orbit.

Bob O.

I don't know if you know this or not, but Triple Play isn't running at SFGAm because of a mishap at SFOT. They debuted a Troika but ran into problems so we had to give up ours for theirs to operate this season.

Personally, I think it's BS that we have to lose ours so SFOT can operate theirs, but it is what it is. We will see Triple Play next year.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

well this morning i called up great america the lady came on and i said hy cani please speak to somebody about one of ur rollercoasters and she said yes one minuet i'll be redirecting you over to matineance ( i thot she said that but i couldnt really hear my cell phone was staticky) and then this real ruff sounding guy came on and said HEllo i said hy, umm i know this is kind of alot but you know your launch coaster vertical velocity he says yea, I say well dont u think it would be neat to actualy give it more of a themeing like the the sign is electrical so why not put 2 motion sensored strobe lights on eatch ends of the station on oppisite sides of the track, So like when they come back zooming through the station it gives it an electric feeling since that's what this ride is pretty much based on. ( he goes silent for a moment) he says well you wouldnt ever be able to see the lights during the middle of dayanyways, but i said not when u could just simply use them at night. Then he says never thot of it like that, i'll talk it over. Thanks for calling he says then i said yup . Bye. Let's hope it works i swear to god.

Neat but annoying to your eyes specially at night. Its fine the way it is I dont think SF would spend all that money to retheme a ride. If they do why not theme it with batman and gotham city since its close to that area. And Dan I think I saw that Lighthouse somewhere in the back by the employee parking lot or maybe not.

i'm counting on it....i love triple play!

back on topic...i would love it if V2 got theming. having strobes or part of it enclosed would be amazing. i think it would be cool if maybe just one tower was enclosed. like the back spike could be enclosed and have some lights or something and when you go up the spiral it would be like you're launching into space from the back spike.

i don't want V2 to go anywhere it is really fun. not scary but definatly a really really good time.
i want my triple play back
