"And that farm girl walked off with slippers off a dead woman? She must have been raised in a barn!" ~Wicked, an excellent musical
Am I missing something? I thought that a dark ride is what the name implies, a dark ride. So that would mean that coasters like Rock'n Roller Coaster wouldn't count. The only one i could see counting is Revenge of the Mummy since it is sort of half dark ride, half roller coaster. I don't really care, but I just wanted to make sure that my thinking was accurate.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter

Rock N' Roller Coaster is a ride in the dark. I kinda confused on Mummy counts, but that doesn't. I'm confused about Hades. Isn't that an outside wooden coaster???

^How can you count Rock'n Roller Coaster but not Revenge of the Mummy? Both are COMPLETELY indoors and both are roller coasters (to a certain degree) that go through darkness. However, Revenge of the Mummy starts off as a Disney ride would, taking you through scenes that set up the plot for the ride, then becomes a coaster. Rock'n Roller Coaster starts with an LIM launch and goes directly into the coaster. My question was that I thought a dark ride was just a ride. An indoor coaster, in my eyes, would not count as a dark ride. But, once again, it doesn't really matter I was just wondering what everyone else thought.

Stitch's Great Mistake. pfft
Yeah, alien encounter was good because the plot would freak you out. But with Stitch being a cute little alien that isn't so evil it isn't scary at all and this attraction loses its affect.

I said that wrong the first time I quoted you. I meant to say that how come Rock N' RollerCoaster doesn't count?????? You say that The Mummy does, but Rock N' Roller Coaster wouldn't. I'm sooooo confused.

^I'm sorry dude, I didn't mean to confuse you. I don't count Revenge of the Mummy as a dark ride, however I can understand how some do because it doesn't start off as a coaster, but rather like a Disney Ride. PM if you still don't understand.

The reason I called Hades a dark ride is because it spends about 20 seconds underground in a pitch black tunnel.
