SFSTL - Opening Day 3/25/2005

Going to a park and want to meet up with other members of this site. Feel free to post where you will be going!
Postby ihauntu2 on February 23rd, 2005, 2:19 pm
I have seen a few members post that they plan on going down to SFSTL on Opening Day. I was curious as to who all was going and whether or not you wanted to meet up. So far I've got myself, my daughter, and my friend Rich with me. We were thinking about going to Blueberry Hill (Chuck Berry's restaurant) in Ucity St. Louis after the park closes. Plus that gives me an excuse to hit up Vintage Vinyl and a few other places in the Ucity Loop.

Let me know.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Anything is possible with me. But considering it is Good Friday, I will probably not end up going to SfStl until April.

I thought it wouldn't happen because of the Orlando trip at the end of the month, but I guess my Dad had such a good time last year he wants to take the entire family this year. We'll see how this turns out, but it would definatly be their opening day again.

Empty Mr. Freeze station all day last year was awesome!!!

AGH!! Where did you get stuck on Excalibur?? That is the only ride that I really felt... um sick... after. That messed my head up! I have never been that dizzy after a ride.

OK so we know a few people that are going, but noone has answered the nd question. Anyone interested in meeting up or heading into St. Louis for a little local flavor after the park closes?

The members that I have met from this board have been very good to me (so far) when I come up to SFGAM , so I thought that I might be able to repay the favor at my home park.

^^^^No, Easter isnt Spring Break. Especially for college. I went to NIU last year and our Spring Break was after Easter. I remember because I had to be back at School late on Easter Sunday bacuase I had to work at the library. What was this topic on again? Oh ya, SFStl. Well, my girlfriend is going to school in Edwardsville which is on the IL side of STL. I made two trips last year and am probably going to make a few this year. I was going to go down opening weekend, but with the Saturday being my birthday and the Sunday being Easter, I decided to postpone it for a few weeks. I should be down there either the first or second weekend in April though.

For those of you who will be there the first few weekends, look at what you get to take advantage of.

Quite interesting if you ask me.

You can use your pass as long as it is processed, if not processed call the park and let them know and they will process the pass and mail it to you thats what they did for me.

That double the rides thing is awesome. It's kind of pointless though, if there's not going to be anybody there anyways.
