Anybody going to this event? I'm not a member of ACE and never intend to be I may go just because I like Ragin Cajun and Batman The Ride so much (yeah normally I don't do that but, Ragin Cajun!). Only problem is I will have to put up with to people talking about how good Cedar Point is

Yea me and my kids are going! Don't worry I won't talk much about Cedar Point I'll just talk about my kids beating you to Demon later.

Hey Papas Fellow Sox Fan a couple of things. The A.C.E. Outing is on the tenth not the first. If you introduce yourself to me and my friends you'll find out we don't care about Cedar Point. In Ohio We like Kings Island. Back on Media Day The Reporter for W.G.N. was talking to two ACE people about their favorite parks and rides and of course Cedar Point came up. Well, I jumped in and said Great America has the most under rated Woddie Viper. From that point on Julian Cruz forgot about the other people rode the Ragin' Cajin with us seeing as how this was Great America's Media Day. Come to the Event I have a big mouth and I'll standup for Great America and all it is that Cedar Point isn't. Go Sox
I am with you. I actually think we are one of the most underrated parks, and people should seriously know about us.
Under rated park indeed were are. Stupid Intamin Launch Coaster...
I never said one park is better than the other, i'm just saying I don't like hearing CP, ShockWave, or Rocket Coasters come up in every converstion and most of it be BS anyway.
By the way, is SFGAm under-rated? Of course. But in my opinion better under-rated than over-rated.

Guess you also didnt realize that this was a media day for Mardi Gras and not a advertising spot for Viper. Oh, and have fun at "The Land of Mediocracy" down in Ohio.
Six Flags is under-rated. The only reason i wouldnt join ace, is because you pay 50 bucks just to buy a jacket that says ace and has a picture of some roller coaster. I can make one of those with 10 dollars. Cedar Point has bad safety, and ok rides. The only good rides in my opinion is Raptor, Gemini and Magnum Xl 2000. I hate mellenium force and havent been on TTd yet. Magnum xl is ok, but i only liked it becaue of the first drop and the last drop with the camera. Gemini is like a racing version of Viper. But i like viper better. Also the Demon Drop is good, but i was scared i was going to crash because of the edge. Cedar point you have to walk two miles to get to mean Streak, which is the ride that i swallowed twenty nats at the end. Raptor was just cool because i rode it at night. And i like the butterfly loop thing. The rest of the rides suck in my opinion. They dont even have the electric gates. Thats how they get all their money, because they dont pay for safety and they have no kiddie rides that are worth anything.

Well put, Magnum is the most painfull experience you will have on a rollercoaster after Mean Streak. They need to take care of their rides, they are in awfull shape. You people think Shockwave was bad, go ride corckscrew, then talk.
Wow you guys are disappointing me. Don't diss my park! You guys are like a bunch of gothic 'anti-life' people that want to argue against CP. If you've been there, it is THAT good. I've been to both parks enough to say that CP is one step above SFGAm in almost all departments. I'm not a fanboy - just calling it how it is. Doesn't matter how you look at it, SFGAm is a SF park and will always have the 'Flag' tendencies.
Dude(s), I just said I don't want to hear about CP in the first topic I couldn't care less about it. Then you went and started a huge CP vs. SFGAm war which is about as stupid as mayonaisse vs. miricale whip. Personally I and a lot of other people don't really give a crap what you think.
And coasterzak you may be stating 'the facts' but I still go to SFGAm a lot and don't go to CP. And as far as i'm concerned the topic is about SFGAm and has nothing to do with CP. Starting now LEAVE IT how it is.
