Dont go in expecting much or anything at all, vists there work alot better that way.
Sometimes the park can be an awful dump, and sometimes it can be relatively inoffensive. None of the coasters really stand out much, Thunder Run is good, but Twisted Twins is lackluster at best, T2 has it's days both ways and Chang is your run of the mill B&M standup. They also have a Roller Skater identical to Spacelys at SFGAm, and a Wild Mouse that isnt bad (though is nothing spectacular in the mouse world) nice themeing if anything. And last but definately not least, they have the Relocated Tidal Wave from SFGAm.
They do better in the flat ride department, quite a few decent flats, if you are into those, I'd say ride them all, even ones you've seen before, the park runs good programs on them usually. And their Waikiki Wave called Quake will most likely be closed as is has been since it was installed back when the park was built. (though I did manage a ride once in 1999 when it was open for some odd reason was on 2 of the 5 total cycles it ran that day(possibly year I'm told) before breaking down)
Traditionally lines arent that horrible, though chances are they will run one train on everything reguardless of line length (though occasionally they break that rule) and lines can get really long on weekends, though on weekdays, I find them tolerable.
As for prices food can be hit or miss, sometimes the food is of good quality and actually tasts good, but for some reason sometimes it can be awful, prices arent all that bad, most food shops have a season pass discount and as long as that employee isnt looking that close (usually arent) you can take advantage of that, I usually eat at this food court near the enterance to the waterpark across from Chang and the ferris wheel.
Also the layout of the park leaves alot to be desired and I'll leave that at that
Hope this all helps.
