One thing that would be a really good thing to have is an 'ff Topic' forum. I know that not everyone wants to talk coasters all the time! (Cmon guys admit it...lol;))I love coasters, Great America, etc. but I dont always want to talk about them without being able to post something off the subject! Off Topic Forum are ussually pop. among forum rooms...Just a thought

Right now I don't think we need an off topic forum, maybe when we get more members I might consider it. But the reason we are here is to talk about coasters. If you want to talk about something else with another member you can private message them.

How would an off topic forum be different than the general coaster talk?

General Coaster forum is dif. There you still talk about coasters still. Off Topic meaning something other than coasters, amusement industry etc.Ok, I see your point Dave.

Yeah, just use the general forum. Heck, I started a Krispy Kreme topic over there.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

There should be a Forum Fun place like CoasterForce has. That would be pretty cool. Some of those topics get to be really long and it seems like there's not really that much to talk about around here now. So to start something off-topic would be cool. Then if we had Forum-Fun these boards would be a little more..... umm.... FUN!

Just talking in the chat room about non coaster type things I found there were now enough people on these boards and there was quite a bit to talk about. I personally feel it is time that this site adds an open forum to talk about non coaster related topics.

i second these emotions. i just joined the site not long ago...and an off-topic forum would be a good way to get to know and learn about the other members/introduce myself in a more in-depth manner. right now the only way you can learn about people is by sifting through through everyone's profile, and the profiles arent very descriptive .its just nice to be able to discuss the many other things going on in the world and nice to be able to get to know others a little more personally.

coasterzak basically solved this problem. Use the chat room. It's practically unmoderated, unless Dave is in there, and he doesn't kick people out who don't talk about coasters. If that doesn't satisfy you, IM or PM eachother.
