Tonight a person posted an off-season "trip report" of sorts In which said person decided that they where going to trespass on park property, photograph and endanger themselves by "getting a closer look" at the active construction site for Goliath.

I have deleted the specific topic. and cannot stress enough how ridiculously stupid this was.

Especially after the person who posted the topic went out of their way to state how they should "Not disrespect the park like I did."

Please use common sense this off-season. Follow the park's FB page, our page, SFGAmZone and other outlets and please do not put yourself or others in unnecessary harm for the sake of snapping pictures of props from 1993.

P.S. If the park or Gurnee Police Department decides to contact us, we will be more than willing to submit this specific users information to them.

My urbex days are long over, and I think I found another reason to stay in retirement from urbex. Idiots ruining the name by breaking into a place that is HEAVILY guarded by police and security, has an EXTREMELY loyal and honest fan base (not to mentions shows it off proudly to said fan base)....makes me mad

The person has not been banned by me. However, I am sure we wont see him around here much anymore anyway.

I saw that topic he posted right away.
I immediately disapproved of his actions, and was surprised he wasn't even stopped by security.

Hopefully the park improves it's security at the employee parking lot.

That was the second time he posted it. I deleted his topic about 4 days ago. He obviously didn't get the hint the first time around.

People like that need to be caught! What an idiot!

He was. And Im willing to bet the site complied and helped him get caught.
