Where is everyone? A few months ago there were always atleast 5 people on. Now theres an average on 3 posts a day! Seems like once it was cancelled everyone left.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2. Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel) @Coaster_Cole on Twitter
Basically when David's silly ass was kicked out of here, 95% of the BS was taken with., and at the time this site was around 95% BS. I kinda like it for right now. I'm sure once the off season kicks and there's nothing better to do, more people will be posting.

When David left, a lot of people who posted a lot left with him it seemed like. Most of the off season talk is just speculation about new rides though.
We saw traffic on the site pick up a bit when Chang showed up at SFGAm, but it died off when it became clear it was going to SFGADV. It's a fairly normal cycle, the boards exploded when it became clear DejaVu was being removed but then once people realized what was going in it's place the boards died. I think once they start moving dirt inside the theme park people will start to gravitate towards the boards again.
Typical oscillation, the more SF cares about Gurnee the more people in the area care about the part, and thus the forum. As someone who used to come here on a more than daily basis, there's only so much you can post about. The moderators and the site itself have nothing to do with that, they are merely giving a medium to talk into, and for that they are commendable. So there's going to be downtime and uptime...but for now I think a majority of the posts are going to be off-topic as there's nothing really fun happening with GAm or the amusement park industry as a whole as far as I know.
Short version; when Project Tumbleweed: 2012 shows up on Screamscape this site will be packed!
Industry is actually pretty active right now, but nothing relating to anything anyone around here is interested in, other than maybe Sellner going under and being bought up by Larson. Though I'd guess most people around here barely know who either company is and what they are known for.
