Am I the only one that new post icons are not appearing anywhere on the forums? Before you ask, yes, I am logged in.
I'm having that same problem right now too.

Good, I thought I was going crazy, at least I know I wasn't the only one.
Well I think I can say what the problem is, I'll have to look into possible fixes, when you view the main page ( Main site page) I think it believes that you are also viewing the main page of the forums, and thus marking them read.

It still doesn't work right for me.
I upgraded our news program, and it seems to be working now, let me know if there are any more problems.

I'm still having problems seeing new posts.
I still don't see new post icons either.
Hmm, not sure if kyle fixed it last night but everything seems to be working fine for me right now.

No I stay logged in at all time as well, I'm not exactly sure why it sometimes work and sometimes doesn't, I can say it has to do with when you go to the main http://www.sfgamworld.com site first, then go to the forums, if you just go straight to http://www.sfgamworld.com/phpBB2/ its OK, but then there has been times where I've gone to the main page, then to the forums and its fine... Really I'm kinda stuck here, I'm not sure whats causing it because its without a pattern.

For me it works if I am not logged in automatically. If I sign in each time its fine.
Yeah it's still screwed up for me. I need it to be in green if i haven't veiwed it so i know were i've been. Whenever i log on i check all the new posts, so i don't know were to go if it doesn't work. I think that it thinks that your veiwing it because your always signed on, so i think that the easy solution is to just sign off and sign back on whenever you come to the site.

This is still happening... it's been happening ever since the news on the front page was linked to the forums... can anything be done about it?
(Errr... sorry for the double post, but it has been 2 weeks, and nothing's changed.)
I just bookmark the SFGam World INdex and that fixes it for some reason

The front page acts as you are visiting the actual forums, so when you leave the front page the program thinks that you've already visited the forums and as most of you know after you close out internet explorer while reading forums it marks them as read.

Yes, I know why it is happening, but I'm just wondering if it can be fixed? ... It's fairly frustrating!
