I love the desktops... just one request... larger size? Please???I have my desktop set at 1024x768... your image looks grainy at that size.Don't get me wrong, I am greatful for the cool images.Just a request...
Hows the site look at that size? I have 800 x 600 which explains why thats the only wallpaper I have right now. Ill work on getting larger wallpaper up in the future though.
Dave, how in the world can you call 800x600 images wallpaper? It's not 1998 anymore. Even on my old monitor that could barely support 1024x768 was forced to run at it, because otherwise there isn't enough room for anything. 800x600 images are not wallpaper, it's a pixel demonstration. Maybe thats part of the reason that to me, your site layout always seems to suck.

I don't have alot of crap on my computer Traivs, so I have no problem running at 800x600. I got my first computer in 1998 and have been using 800x600 ever since.
aero737, I must say, Windows doesn't always look bad. In my old XP profile, I changed the registry so it would never load the Explorer shell. I used GeoShell, which is much cleaner and, if you ask me, can look prettier than Mac OS X. I never tried it, but I imagine it would work very well for low resolutions like that. But with all that registry changing, I screwed up my computer and had to reinstall Windows... And now I'm using Explorer again. Oh how I loathe Explorer! And Dave, just because you use 800x600, doesn't mean you should cater to that only. You run a website, websites are accessed by many people. Most people use higher resolutions, like 1024x768. I bet statistics would show thats the most common screen resolution for 15 to 19 inch monitors.
I don't cater only to 800x600 Travis, I originally made the first two wallpapers (S:UF and Deja Vu) for my own computer and then decided to put them up on the site.
T_Biggs, Yes Mac OS looks good, and I haven't tried any shells on windows, although my friends have. Dave, when I used to make WWW sites, I would test it in all resolutions and test it in Internet Explorer and Netscape. This site looks good (everything is centered), but I don't like the hover links. Does the size of the font really need to change when you hover over a link with your mouse? It just makes all the tables change size and doesn't look very good (in my opinion).
I don't like the hover links that much either. I used to make all my links change color, but I couldn't find a color that would appear on both a red background and a black background to change the link color too. So I just put the hover on there, so you would actually know you were on a link.
