People Working On Deja Vu

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby lightningserve16 on July 12th, 2003, 10:24 pm
Ok, I was just on coasterbuzz.com and one person who went to the park today said he saw 3 engineers standing in the station by the missing track piece talking and pointing towards the empty space, he also saw a person wearing a light blue shirt whith an ear piece on standing on that little deck by the loop in the ride talking to them or his ear piece. And a guy walking on the grass kicking, no idea wat he was doing. So keep your fingers crossed that it might be opening soon!!!
Its hard to come up with signatures. When I get one it will be right here.

There is a guy talking about DV over at coasterbuzz who seems intelligent and informed. He states that the new train will indeed be a conventional 4-across design and will be a "guinea pig" to see how it runs compared to the refurbished trains at SFOG and SFMM.However, he gives no timetables for this train to arrive on site.I am looking forward to reading TRs this week to hear about the progress.

NAY! lol :wink:Thats just useless speculation. Please like I said above, only report things that you have seen personally going on with Deja Vu. Speculation just leads to useless false rumors.

Well, Other than and increased capacity what does this change? I kinda liked the old (well maybe not old) train. I hope it will return.

Like I said above, the whole 4 across crap is useless speculation. Its just creating rumors. No more talking about this 4-across seating until somebody sees that its no longer V-shape seating with thier own eyes. Which quite frankly isn't going to happen.

It's your topic, Dave, but you're just going to have to keep telling the children to not talk about 4-across, because it, or some other rumors like it will keep comming up.

I also dont know where this came form w/4 across seating. What gave you this idea. Just because you think its a possibility in your own mind doesnt mean you have to start saying that the park WILL install it.

i doubt we'll get 4 across seating. it would be nice, but i cant see it happening. it will probably be the same way as b4 with the V-shape or it will be like V2:Vertical Velocity with two seats per row. Nobody knows hows its gonna be, so were all just gonna havta wait and find out for ourselves IF it does ever open.

There's no way that ride has room for a V2 style train. And to have 32 riders, it would be another car longer than the already pretty long V2 train.
