Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

We have all been on the Front Row of many of the Classics, But Which GA Coaster is the all time best Front Row Seat? Ill check back periodically to get a count up.In my Opinion the best front row seat is on The Raging Bull. Especially during the first 200 Foot drop. That so totally rules! Also i must say front row on Superman is one of the best too.Tell me what ya thinkMikeCountdown to Great America: 17 Hours7/1/03

Best ride for front would be Deja Vu without a doubt. Most of my 52 rides on it have been in either 1A or 1B. I highly suggest you try riding Raging Bull in the back, you will find the first drop is a hell of alot better back there.

I'm not a big fan of the front row (because it is slower). I like the back way better.

yea i would have to agree.. i am more a fan of the back.. especially on rides like raging bull and viper. viper is sooo much better in back. i like vertical velocity in the back too. raging bull is pretty awesome in the front but so is batman just because u can see everything. i like front row on the giant drop the best. haha!! j/k i haven't had the oppurtunity to go on deja vu yet but i hope i will soon.. again, has anyone seen any progress on the track. just getting anxious sorry. my best front row would have to be raging bull or batman if i had to pick. iron wolf too because u don't get such a headache in the very front.
Need a break from college homework.. 2004 season, come faster!!

I have to disagree. I love the back row on any coaster but the front is usually more appealing to me. Getting to see the track in front of you and all that wind right in your face is a great experience compared to looking at the bottom of someone's Nikes or the back of someone's head. Yes the back is more thrilling but I just enjoy the front more. Plus getting whipped around those corners on S:UF is awesome.

I would have to say Deja Vu and V2. All the others, the back is simply the best.

I haven't been on Deja Vu in the front yet :xI'd say Batman and V2 are the best in the front. Superman is a close runner-up.

The best SFGAm front row rides for me are Raging Bull, Superman, and Batman. Anyone who didn't yet has to go on Wicked Twister in the back seat. It is awesome!!!!!!

The only two rides I've ever ridden in the front were Batman and Demon.Demon in the front absolutely sucked, but Batman was totally incredible!

Why wouldn't he be able to say it....of course he is talking about Wicked Twisters rear spike. Think about it, sorry if you took it the wrong way.Dave who likes V2 better than Wicked Twister, but doesn't even like V2 that much.

Deja Vu definately wins for me... It's just amazing. Especially when you only have to wait 15 minutes (Last Blast)!

I have ridden both Wicked Twister and V2 and the back and V2 is way better. I just like the sensation of being stopped at the top and looking below at the water much better.

Well, I've said it a million times before, but location is everything, and thats why V2 is my favorite impulse. I've also been on SUE, and it's my least favorite. I still like it, but the back spike is just there, nothing special, even with the brake. Wicked Twister has the screw, which makes it great, but it's over sand. Overal, in a parking lot, a WT impulse would beat a SUE impulse any day. However, put a SUE impulse over water, and it is enough to push it over the top (not litterally, of course!) and be the best around.

I seriously don't see what the big deal is with location and theming for a coaster. in my opinion, for example, if V2 was in a different location, it would be the same.

you get to experience superman in front row, and you're able to see everything, but when you rid in the middle or back you can feel the force a lot more.and my favorite rides front row at GA are viper and batman. in front row on viper it feels like a run away coaster, and batman... batmans just amazing lol

Batman, Superman, V2, Viper, and Raging Bull are my faves. I've only done DV once front row so I don't really remember it, but I'm sure if I did it would be on the list.

Themeing is very important to a coaster!!! Do you know how often people complained that Shockwave was "just over a parking lot?" That's one of the reasons that Batman is so loved: amazing themeing.

Sorry... sorry... you just touched a nerve... to me themeing is what makes or breaks a ride... it's why I love SWT so much.

i rarley ride the front on anycoaster.....but one ride that rules in the front is Batman....but i've only ridden in the front once...oh well....another reason i dont ride in the front is because it is too long of a wait (for some) and its slower..... 8)
