Does anyone know what rides are in storgae? Does anyone have any pics? Does anyone know if the rides will be returning if an expansion of the park will happen?

I wish! I really love Whizzer alot, and it is a classic ride. But if Shock Wave could be rebuilt in its place, I'd prsonaly bring in the wreking crew to knock it down  Of course, I like the other idea mentioned in another thread alot better, of putting Shock Wave In the Parking lot next to RB and Viper.
Nothing to see here....

I mean by tearing down the Whizzer, You can Retheam the ride in a new area give it the green paint job and even rename The Whizzer Reloaded. Alot of the General public would not notice untill they rode it.(Six Flags can say fooled you :P ) I really dont like rides being torn down put it seems like I good idea. Or you can fit Shockwave behind the Pictorium and have some supports go in and around WC and SSA.(I would even pay them to rebuild the ride.)

Rides in storage:Shockwave, Cages from Sky Whirl (the ride itself was melted down I believe) and Power Dive. There may be more back there, im not sure what happened to Cajun Cliffhanger, Haybayler or the Hometown Kiddie Rides.

I was wondering what happened to Cajun Cliffhanger. I wonder if it too was melted down.

I've heard Hay Bayler still is on the property somewhere. After riding it again at SFWoA, though, I really could care less about it returning, as long as another flat will take its place soon. The ride there was nearly identical, but it didn't seem that great to me, and I never remember having it be a challenge to get out of it's car, with the thing swinging and the lapbar trying to fall on you, while you're trying to step on a slanted surface.

I'm sorry, but they should have never removed Sky Whirl for a lawn ornament... ahem... ride. It is a classic, and one of the few great family rides that was left in park. If you've never ridden it, get your butt over to Paramount's GAm, they still have theirs (for the time being!)

I think Hershey Park still has their double wheel. I think thats as close as you can get to a triple wheel here in the States. There might be one or two triple wheels left over seas.

For a thril seeker, then definitely the lawn orna...ride that is there now is better. But for the GP, which is a lot of families, Sky Whirl was a classic and always had a line. It was one of the few unique rides from Marriot days.

We still have Demon and Whizzer! So we have 2 out of the 3 major Marriot rides. Thats is pretty damn good if you ask me! But my guess is one of those rides are next to go.

Demon can't go there is practicly no ride that can fit in that area. Maybe if the ornament doesn't open this year, the park will resurect the Sky Whirl.

Don't forget about Yankee Clipper and Loggers Run as major Mariott rides. Also, Orbit is one of the only rides with a Mariott's Great America style star.

If they did melt down the supports, Sky Whirl will never be rebuilt.

If they were made to begin with, they can be made again. But why bother? It may have had a line all the time, but every year it got shorter and shorter, and because it was a ride at so few parks, Intamin never needed to make many replacement parts. So, it costed a lot of money to have them make one.But you know, I have no idea what happend to it, but it's rumored that Mariott had already purchased a few rides for their 3rd Great America (never built.) It's said among those rides were Columbia Carousel and Sky Whirl.

I garuntee you that Deja Vu has a much longer line than Sky Whirl ever did... So, I guess that means the GP likes Deja Vu more. ;)

Yea I agree. Give it time and it will be open. You guys want to ride it so badly, and then when you guys go to the park, it ruins your whole day becuase it is open, there still arn't trains on the track, or you hear someone say they are taking it down. If ours is going to be taken down or whatever why would they have fixed SFOG's and SFMM's. Both of those are back in working order and have been running better than ever. And then ours will soon be the same.
