Pass renewal question

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby T_Biggs on December 28th, 2002, 12:58 am
Is it just me, or am I crazy. Looking at renewing my season pass online, it has a $7 (or more) shipping and handling charge. Am I missing something, or is that right? If it is, what the hell are they shipping?!

My parents got me a season pass for christmas offline and had to pay the $7 shipping and handling. I would have done the renew option but my season pass snapped into two on the last day of the season. Another complaint about the online ordering I have is that you can't buy a parking pass with the season pass.

Does anyone know if you get admission to other parks for free if you work at one of them? I am considering getting a job at SFWoA this summer and was wondering if I could get in for free to SFGAm. That would be pretty cool if it worked like that but I am not sure.

I'm 99.9% positive that if you work within the Six Flags family, you get free admission to any Six Flags park...

Screw the online crap. I am more than content to do it the old fashioned way. I will purchase it when I visit next season. My daughter needs one also for her first time.

My mom got our season passes last night online. She didn't know she had to pay for shipping and she was mad. One thing I never knew was that when you get a season pass to a SF park you could use it at every other SF park. I usually thought it was just for that one certain park. So with this plan I have I'll have a better chance of my parents taking me to SFMM this summer.

I think he meant 'Dominicks'. Anyways, my mom didn't want to get them at Dominicks this year for some reason. I think she said they were more expensive. I can't remember. But anyways, today we received our season pass tickets in the mail! Just wanted to share.

In the last few years i will always get the 4-pack deal from Dominick's. Always comes out fairly cheap around 65 bucks per person. Doesn't matter if ur family or whatever just find 3 buddies that also want to get season passes, then head out to Dominick's and pick up a cheap 4-pack.

I got my pass in the mail yesterday. It comes in a big Priority Mail envelope and shipping on the envelope says $4.30. It was sent from Texas according to the return address so thats probally why shipping costs so much. It also says that there are processing dates before May 3rd so that pretty much confirms May 3rd is the 2003 opening day.
