http://www.thrillnetwork.com/gallery/Dec22Here's a update that I took on December 22nd, Sorry for the low quality pics, but my camera stinks ( only has 2x digital zoom Boo!) But here's what I saw.. Main thing was that there was station track up. it also appeared that they have the lift maybe 1/2-3/4 of the way done, and the large dirt pile is over by the pickup/dropoff zone. Also over by the Ticket booths they had one of the large fan supports, ( The support looks like its for the top of the loop.) with more scattered around. Hopefully I'll be able to use my girlfriend's camera next time I go since its much better. :)

I hope you weren't using your 2x digital pixelation. But anyways, I see you couldn't figure out where that one support goes. A week or so ago from other pics, I tried to figure out the same thing. I came to the conclusion that it's inconclusive!

That pretty much is as close as you can get, though there is a hill to the right hand side which you can go up, its just thats not SFGAm Property, but I believe it is the property of the house on the corner there, and you can I think technically go up it, but I didn't want to chance it. Hopefully Next time I'll be able to have a better camera to use. :)

Welcome! I think you share the feeling with other people, I'll miss shockwave too, but if I had to remove 1 ride that'd be it... And I think SFGAm is ready for its new thrill! :)

What does everyone think of this solo support? For those of you who went to see construction, was it connected to any footers? But even if they just assembled it before they put it in place why would they store it standing up?

I don't know anything about this solo support. I heard that we shouldn't expect any surprises with it, that's it though. I wonder...

Who did you hear that from? You cannot make a support just stand straight up with out it being secured to the ground. Why wouldn't you just set it on the ground with all the others. Is this one special or something? To me that doesn't make much sense. But if you heard it from a reliable source...... It just doesn't make much sense!?!?
