Lines for Flats and Older Rides

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Has any one else noticed that as more and more new coaters are added to the park, the lines for flats and older coasters are getting incredibly short? On my last two visits, I did not have to wait more than one turn for any flat, Iron Wolf, Whizzer, and others. In fact, most of the flats were running half full! How great it is to be easily amused by spinning rides!

Even during weekdays, there is a line for Iron Wolf and Whizzer. Yesterday, there were lines for most of the flat rides. Yesterday was the first time this year I saw most of the flat rides and water rides(with a few exceptions) all open at the same time.

I went on Sunday, May 18th, so I guess it was early in the season, but very short waits all-around.Even in the midafternoon, only waited 25 minutes for Batman: The Ride.

Whizzer and Iron Wolf still generate lines in the late morning/early afternoon.Just wait until July rolls around. Most of the rides will have lines.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Whenever I go all the flats have small lines. AE and Whizzer had small lines too.

GAm must have an incresing attendance total because it was never that crowded on June weekdays. Looks like S:UF is attracting.

All parks are like that. They don't get crowded until schools out then its a huge boost in attendance.
