It wasn't to crowded considering it was a holiday weekend. They were really understaffed though. Get there early because parking is an absolute mess with all the construction.

No one can park in the over-flow lot because of construction back there, so today they had guests parallel parking on the roads in the regular parking lot, so I wouldnt expect the rest of the season to be overcrowded...but, I wouldnt take my word for it! Anyway, it wasn't all that bad today...plus I hear its going to rain, so my guess is the park will not be a full today as it will be tomorrow...labor day is another story though...

Hmm, last week they had cars in the overflow lot even with the construction going on. And from SFGAm Shockwave's pics it didn't look like they did anything new over there.

With the look of that, the parking lot is going to look unusually packed, but it won't be as bad as it looks. Tomorrow will probably be the same as today if the weather cooperates.

Hurricanes genarally bring cold weather to the midwest, good for light crowds. (Remember how we had a week in the 60s when Charley came?)

It is suppose to be 80 tomorrow with a chance of a thunderstorm, so who knows if people will want to go.

All the lights in the large overflow were plucked and there were huge areas dug out and stuff in and around the overflows.

Oh also they painted the building between Grand Music Hall and Fastlane bright yellow with teal framework, it sticks out I felt like I was at Knotts :?.
