SUPERMAN NOT OPEN UNTIL MAY 26??!!

some of my friends went to 6FGAm on April 19 and said there was a sign on S:UF that said they wouldn't be opening it until may 26th, is this true? i thought everyone thought it would be opened by opening day.. they said deja vu didn't even have cars on it yet though.. what do you think ? (greatamerica2003... write back!! HELP!!)

I know for sure that Deja Vu won't be open on May 3rd; I heard it will open in early June. As for Superman, I'm pretty sure it will be open on opening day because it has to be running on Media Day.

it tested and all and the stations almost done as of last week so i doubt its true and isnt media day on the 29th.

so u guys are POSITIVE that deja vu won't be opened on opening day that is some sad times rite there, we have been tryin to get on that damn thing for like a year now!! is there any chance it could be open?

I waited in line for 2 hours and the staff said it will open after it is well tested and the at the 2 hour mark they came out is the dreded sign this ride will not open today!!!

welcome to my world!!! i went 5 times last year and it was closed all but 2 times!!

i would think that if anyday in may, it would be open on the 3rd. I would think they would show it off then, then shut it down if they needed to. But i doubt it will close in may. B&M's are pretty predictible/reliable.

but deja vu isn't a B&M coaster, its a vekoma, maybe u thought i was talkin about superman, no i think superman will definately be open but i was talking about deja vu. sorry.

Yea I know for sure that S:UF will be open on May 3rd. Deja Vu on the other hand I'm not sure if it will be open on opening day or not. If it is going through the rehab that the other two went through then it may not open until June. Or if has been going throught the rehab then i would think they would have started when the season ended.

Hey i am going to processing day tomarrow and i will check to see if that's true. I just need to know stolen_starz where did your freinds see the sign because i'm only going to take pics(if my dad will let me take his camera) and to see the ride up close. So did they see the sign on the outside of the park because if they did i wiil check to see if what they said is true.

ooooo....cool me too!!! im not going until around 6 o'clock.....i've got practice ....now my pictures probably wont be as good since by the time we get to SF it will be dark....or getting dark

Lets put this stupid opening stuff to rest.S:UF - Nothing has been said to make anyone believe that it won't be opening on May 3rd. The park has marketed it to be open that day. With the screw-up on Deja Vu, they would NOT make the same mistake twice.Deja Vu - Your'e gonna have to wait until June, Late May at the earliest. The train is still in the maintenance shop. A rollercoaster must be run 50 times before it can be state certified. Maintenance doesn't have time to do this, so they use the crews who are training for the ride. 0% chance it will be open in May 3rd.Thats it. No more of this, it's getting sickening.

yea i dont know where they saw those signs. i think by the entrance to the ride was what they said but she is known to exaggerate. loland greatamerica2003...since u seem to know everything, if you're wrong about ne of this.. yo're going to feel dumb so why don't u drop the attitude? if its getting sickening, don't come on this board. all we did was ask questions.. chill, alright??!!

what is YOUR problem, if it's sickening, then he shouldnt post things in here and i DO know grammar. believe me, i tested out of an AP English Comp class. it's the net, why should i worry about grammar, it isn't frickin class. i said he would FEEL dumb, not BE dumb. he had an attitude, there isn't a need for it.

i didnt feel like going through posts in order to find one on it so i made a new one. then i would get an email sayin someone responded. if it's a waste of your time, then DON'T respond. if you're right, more power to you! you just don't need to get a cocky attitude. there isn't ANY need for it. yea, it's cool that you're telling us stuff about the park, i'll give you that, but don't get cocky about it. tell it or don't, don't get an attitude.
