Batman HAULING

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby EVOed8 on May 24th, 2004, 2:45 am
Man, what a difference from opening day. I rode Batman today and I think it broke some blood capularies throughout my body. What a F*n ride. Totally faster than SFoGs which was also hauling this year.
Track Record - 330something

Yep, I was one that thought it was running slow on that very cold opening weekend too. But by the next weekend I rode it on a nice and sunny day it was back to it's very intense self.

Same thing to Demon at its mid-point.

That's funny this topic has come up because right after my second Batman ride on Saturday, I thought to myself, "This was the fastest Batman ride I have ever had." It was that intense.

I'm so MAD. I haven't gone to SFGAm the last 2 weekends. I can't go during weekdays because of school. I went opening day, The Sunday after opening day, The Saturday after that (the next weekend). I want to go SO BADLY!!!!
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

Now this is bizarre, On media day I thought it was running way slower than opening day. (I get the feeling one train is running quite a bit better than the other)

Batman seemed the same to me all 6 times I went on it this year. Very intense as always. Actually, now that I remember, the 6th time I went on it this year it ran REALLY fast, it was insane. I closed my eyes during parts of the ride cause it was going insanely fast...

That's what I heard. When I rode it, it kicked my ass. It could be a train difference, we gotta pay attention to that. It was literally better than SFoGs... which is scary.

Wait til the summer heat comes then you won't be getting these various rides some that aren't as good as others, once the metal gets used to a constant warm temperature.

Batman was hauling today as well! Very intense. My feet felt weak at the turn after the 2nd vertical loop. Still a tremendous ride.

3 days ago I went in car 2 it was intense as hell whenever I go in back it's not as bad (mainly cause the helix in car 2 is crazy).
Why, don't know. But where you sit is definitley a factor. Row 1 didn't seem as intense either.

I know what you are saying about row two. Row three is also good. However, I have no patience so I usually go where there's no line or a shorter one. BTR has been going fast for awhile. It's just that people notice it more the more times they go on it.

Wierd. I always feel that Row 8 is most intense. I'll try row 2 next time.

Are you sure it was batman and not fiddler's fling? Batman usually is pretty good and I'm real shocked. I wonder what the prob. was. mabye the train was full and the velocity made it intense.
You see I like the cubs and the white sox. If it came down to the world series I'd pick the cubs.

NEW BTR discussion ( << to remind sfgamer2)
I noticed that they have been turning the fan on and off for some time. Why is this? They also shut off the lights for the fan. They change the colors all the time on that. Now, I know why they never had all white lights in the tunnel. The bug problem was especially bad when C.A.D. 1 was on. Half red and half white would be better. I also noticed that they turned on the lights for the "storm drain."

It kind of looks like this ("storm drain" if you don't know what I'm talking about) when you first enter the tunnel on the floor.

Anyway. those lights are bad to turn on, because it looks like a garbage dump is in that thing. I thought they used to have fog coming out of that thing instead.

They also shut off the lights for the fan.

Sometimes they have them off, most of the time it's on.

They still do, they have both.

...perhaps you caught B:TR's line at a bad time .
